Definately not normal. If I had to take a guess I would say your jetting is too rich or the carbs may need to be cleaned. If you post up your mods in the jetting section, along with what jetting your running now somebody should be able to get you close. Also, what plugs are you running? The wrong plugs may also do that. Most people run NGKs in BR8ES or B8ES.

If your doing a lot of winter riding Maxxis 4-Snows work awesome, I ran a 22" set a couple years ago when I had my 02. Unfortunately I don't ride my new Banshee on the snow, we do mostly street riding in the snow, and after they ssalt it just kills the frames, and makes everything look nasty. I been 4x4in' it this year.

On the east coast you can find some smoking deals, because there isn't a big demand for these bikes out here. That seems a little high priced, Ive bought running bikes in decent shape for 1500 out in PA. If you can get him down to 2000, it wouldnt be a terrible deal, but I would say more than likely plan on doing some work yourself on the bike. I know everytime I pcik something up that I plan on keeping for any length of time I always dig into the carbs to make sure the jetting is on spot. There are a lot of knuckle heads that really screw up the jetting on these bikes, and that just kills them. Either way, good luck with your purchase!!! I'm sure you wont be dissapointed.

X2 on the Tusk Clutch, theyre cheap and Ive run one for 3 years now no issues. I also wouldn't replace either of the hubs unless they look very worn. I'm still on my stock set and my bike's an 01.

Also have a set of big bars adapters, they are missing one bolt. Make an offer, they cost about $5 to ship. And a coolant bottle relocator. If you don't run an air box this will attach to the rear fender so you can still mount the coolant overflow. Same deal, make an offer, costs about $5 to ship. Has all hardware but could be cleaned up a bit.

PMed ya back. As far as I can tell it looks mint with the exception of the coolant crud on it which should easily clean off.

Also have a good pickup coil, tested to the values listed in Clymer and looks to be in good shape. Bike had spark before I pulled it apart. 15 shipped. Last but not least, a coil with NGK ends. To fit the plus into the coil ends you need to unscrew the plud ends, and they sit kind of loose. Not sure if thats the way its supposed to be since I never ran one. 25 shipped, or make an offer. Bump, still have the drain plate, impeller, kicker, and frame guards, everything else is all on flea bay. I also have a Duncan Quick Change Clutch Cover I pulled tonight. Kicker seal is good, water ump seal and bearing looks good too 130 shipped. Good shape, could be cleaned up a bit . Rear wheel Hubs, nice and tight, 35 shipped.
