  1. Good to hear!! With the puller, you have to clean the threads on the flywheel really good so the puller goes all the way in. If the threads don't go all the way in you'll either fuck up the flywheel puller or the flywheel.
  2. Hey, sounds good, I have to work until 4pm today, Woodbridge mall would be perfect, but I wouldnt be able to get up there until about 5 or so. I'm not sure what kind of shape the other cases are in, I havent cracked open that motor yet., I should have it done this time next weekend, so I'll shoot you a couple pics. Thanks, Jay
  3. Hey, I'm in Piscataway, NJ, I'm willing to meet just about anywhere in NJ that's good for you, you should be able to put that into mapquest and find a decent place. If you can't meet up let me know and I can also ship, and I can give you a price on that. I was hoping, for the price, that you might be able to pick them up, I put them up at a low price for a quick easy sell. I'm around most weekday nights too if that works for you. If you find a place/time give me a call, 908-552-1528, or shoot me a PM. Thanks!!
  4. Hey, I think your PMs are full, give me a call sometime today or tomorrow if you want the cases/swinger, 908-552-1528. I can meet somewhere but it's gotta be in Jersey, I hate going to SI. Thanks!!
  5. Thanks for the heads up! Parts just aren't going for what they used to lately, I've parted out a few bikes in the last 4 years, and prices are way down on the stuff, it seems like nobodys building Banshees lately. I won't even touch most shees for what people are asking for them, even in rough shape.
  6. Hey, I could go 300 for both, I'm at work until 4 tomorrow, I'm not sure where youd want to meet at, I'm pretty much off of 440 and up 287 a bit. I don't have any clutch parts, I do have a second engine but I havent cracked it open yet, shoot me a PM and let me know what you want to do. Thanks bro!

I'll grab some pics of the swinger a little later.
  8. I'll grab a couple tonight, I don't have any right now. I noticed you were looking for cases too, I have a set in decent shape too, I have a ton of pics I'll post up. 220 if you want to come pick it up, I'll throw in the aluminum skid too. 100 on the cases I'll post up pics in a few
  9. Got any pics of the stator? Specifically the plug. I'm very interested.
  10. The idle screws should sit on the ramp part of the slide, and the cutouts should face towards the back. It is possible that you may have swapped the slides side to side, as I remember they are unqiue to each carb. Also, keep an eye on the bowls, they are also unqiue to each carb, there is one with a small brass jet in the very bottom and that goes on the side that has the choke knob. Good luck, carbs can be a bit troublesome until you get them figured out, but it's not that bad, and the thing should scream once you get them dialed in.
  11. I will go .02 and a coupon for 15% off a can of Alpo dog food. I might be able to throw in a stale cheeze doodle if need be.
  12. Hey, I have a -2 Roundhouse swinger off of the bike I'm parting out. I can grab some more pictures, I have it off of the bike now. I am looking for 260 shipped with the carrier, bearings are nice and tight, the swinger also has skid plate mounting tabs. Chrome is a little rough, could use some PC. Not sure what brna dthis is, but it looks to be pretty solid. Paypal add 5%. Thanks!!!
  13. Last bump before I shelve these parts, water pump cover will be on fleabay. I think the bar clamps are sold.
  14. That's a damn good deal, where are ya located? If your out west that's an especially good deal. I think, but don't quote me, you should probably be running a 260 main and 25.5 pilot. I used to run the same setup, but it's been a while, if you post up over on the jetting forum somebody should be able to get you spot on. Also, you may want to invest in a carb synch tool, I used to do my carbs without, but after I bought one, Ive been able to get them dead on, and I notice I have to mess with them a lot loss. It's basically just a flow meter that helps you get the slides and crab top adjustments to match up 100%. Good luck with the bike, keep us posted on your build status!!!!
  15. I see a lot of post counts going up with this thread!
  16. I second that, good stuff. As a side not STAY AWAY from 10w30, 10w40 and any kind of motor oil. The new motor oil has friction modifiers in it which will toast the clutch in a couple of minutes. I had this happen to my on my YZ a few years back. Clymers reccomended 10w40 motor oil, so I used that, and 5 minutes later, no more clutch.
  17. Can I get a pic of the stator? I am interested if the plugs are right.
  18. What kind of dingleberry actually goes and corrects commas and capitalization on an Internet Message Board? Think about it for a second, this is not by any means a formal forum, as long as the point is gotten across, and it is somewhat readable, I don't see an issue! You'd have to have a lot of time on your hands to go and do this. If you were writing a doctoral dissertation, or designing a business website, then ok, fine, spelling might be important and you may have half an argument. But to go and pick through internet postings for spelling, grammer and punctuation, come on bro, give it a rest, nobody really cares. Alf, I was hoping it might be a sister, or a hot friend you might be able to hook me up with..... I'm always looking to upgrade, but hey, good catch!
  19. Yes, but probably not until after the weekend, I need some party time. It's all motor stuff, 2 sets of cases, a crank, trans, some cylinders, I also have a -2 roundhouse swinger with carrier.
  20. Awesome, the swinger I have is 16 3/4" for the same dimensions so I'm guessing its a -2
  21. Congrats bro!! Looks like the bike is in pretty good shape!! I would pull the carbs, clean them, AND make sure you have the right jetting. Most people have some sort of issue getting the bike jetted right, and that's where most of the problems on these bikes start. If you post up what mods it has, what kind of filter/airbox setup you have, and what altitude and temps your riding at we can get you pretty darn close of what mains and pilots you should be running. Good luck with the bike!!!
  22. Awesome, thanks bro!! I'll measure the swinger in a few, I gotta run out back, I have a feeling it's a -1 or -2, I'm guessing measuring from the center of the pivot bolt to the center of the carrier would be the best bet.
  23. Ehh somewhat, the j-arm bikes typically go for a little less, but I would pay the same amount for a 92 that's in the same shape as an 02. As long as the bike is in decent shape, I would say 2k, TOPS. If the cylinders can be rebored, and just need pistons and rings, you can get away for about $300 or less if you do the labor yourself. If the cylinders are busted or on the last bore your looking at a bit more. If you had a pic or more info somebody could definately give you a closer price.
