  1. Damn good price! I ran these on my shee a while back. Awesome mid range pipe!!
  2. Flea Bay sucks, I've been beat on there a few times, both buying and selling. If you deal on e-bay it's what youve got to expect. Sad part is they dont seem to give a shit either way.
  3. If you get one, do the Torch Works one, cheapest price by far($325), and awesome quality. You even get a free impeller too. Check 'em out: http://www.torchworks.net/index.htm
  4. Sounds right, as you turn the screw out, your leaning out the pilot mixture. With that big 30 jet your gonna wanna be somewhere in the neighborhood of 2.5 to 3 turns out if your still running the stock box with a lid.
  5. That's an awesome deal on those pegs!! Does the stator have the adjustable timing plate with it too? I'm interested.
  6. Your running warm in the winter?? That's odd, even on a cub. I have run some slow ass trails on a stock rad filled with mud and a stock head on a hot day, and only overheated maybe twice, although it does get a little hot. I bought an OS rad for my build, but unless your not moving very fast, or it's really hot outside I've found I don't often need it. Also, I wouldnt spend any $$ on the inline cooler, just another seal in the coolant system that could leak, and they dissapate a negligible amount of heat. Just my .02
  7. I also think if you spend over $1000 with them for the year that they send you a GC for 10% of what you spent or something like that. If so I should definately be seein one of those soon.
  8. Gonna be a little tough. There arent too many people running these carbs, and the few times I asked, I didnt have much luck with jetting specs. I'm guessing they are 28mm Keihins or CPWs(Keihin knock offs) If they are the Mikunis I really can't help you. I run 48 Pilots and 140 Mains in mine with a stock air box, pipes, reeds, timing, 21cc domes, similar setup. The domes and timing shouldnt need much more fuel if any, but for the open air box you should bump up a couple main sizes for, and maybe 1 pilot. If you really get stuck, call up Carb Parts Warehouse, and as long as your buying jets from them they should be able to help you out with some jetting info, and they can get you pretty close. Good luck,
  9. Got mine the other day, should work as many times as you want, I think all of them have the same number. Not going to use it anyway, since I have everything I need. Anyway, it's for $20 off of $150 and the code is GC2935, it expires on 12/15/07. Hope this helps someone,
  10. Nice TDI!! I like the diesels, especially with the stick, I heard they get awesome gas mileage, gotta love the sound too.
  11. Or at night, but not last night. 325 seems very fair. About a C-Note cheaper then a new one, I'd say that sounds like a good deal for someone.
  12. Gol Damn, I got 2 of those in my shed I couldnt even give away. Goota put them up on ebay soon now I guess.
  13. 26 going on 16. :woot: The People's Republic of New Jersey.
  14. I second that, awesome dude fo sho! Bought a chain off of him, and he was super friendly, and shipped super quick. I wish this site was as relaiable as he is.
  15. I'm not I-Talian, but I have plenty of friends that follow that rule. Also, one more to add. Anyone know how Lodi, New Jersey got its name? Land Of Dumb Italians
  16. Great price, great guy to deal with. Bump for ya!
  17. :yelrotflmao: Nice, never heard that one before.
  18. That bike is about as fast around a track as your going to make it unless you throw in a 4mil and/or an RZ engine. Contrary to what you think the 421 Cheetah PV is going to do a slower lap around an MX track then what you have right now. I hope some people who have experience with Cheetahs will chime in here, trust me, it is not anything you want to put on a track. Meant for dunes and drags only.
  19. I havent seen too many banshees without the chain whack, that's pretty normal. It usually doesnt affect anything, and you can even take a die gridner and clean it up. As for the VIN, he sounds like he knows what he's talking about. In NJ anyway, if you buy just a frame brand new, or make a frame from scratch, it won't have a VIN, the state will issue you a VIN, and it's up to you to put it on the frame somehow. Not everyone does that, but you could get into trouble for it. If you have a title or registration and there isnt a VIN on the frame, you have to do 2 things: 1- Have DMV run the VIN you have, and make sure it isn't stolen, etc. 2- Get that VIN number on the frame, and then register it/title it in your name. You might want to check with your state's law just to be certain, but thats how it works here in NJ.
  20. What are these valves you speak of??? :woot: Looks shitty. I'm guessing that most of the new 450s are interference engines? (Valves come lower then the top of the piston during the stroke). I've only worked on non-intereference 4 strokes, so if you don't adjust the valves right, you get the tick and a loss of performace, but no mishaps.
  21. If you buy a twist only throttle your going to have to change out the throttle cable too if I'm not mistaken. You will have to do away with the TORS if you want to go this route. Terry Cable makes a Dual Gasser that has both the thumb and twist throttle all in one package, a little more expensive, but it's nicer and it uses the stock cable. You could keep the TORS if you went that route, but I would really reccomend buying the TORs removal kit, TORS is only going to give you problems later on, and makes trouble shooting the bike a bitch and a half.
  22. Looks like a decent tire, the tread isnt as well defined as the I-Razers, the knob son these look a bike more rounded. It's going to be tough to know how they wear unless you buy them too. If you do buy them, give us a write up.
  23. You can't blame him, he's from New Jersey. :yelrotflmao:
  24. I'm guessing it is 5^x * 125^(6x-5) = some number. So if you want to simplify it, apply the natural log to both sides, and on the left you will get (19-x)*ln(5), by the ln rules for addition and multiplication.
