Hey, what's up, not a Banshee, but it is a Yamaha. I was figuring someone might know a thing or two about dirt bike jetting. Pretty much I wanted to go from a stock pipe on my 00 YZ to a Pro Circuit. I heard that you dont need to chnge jets just the clip on the needle. Anyone know if that's true? Or how to change the jetting for the new pipe. Thanks guys!!!!
nope
You would have been better saying the title was lost. It's gonna be hard to sell the frame knowing there is a title floating around for it, and someone else has it.
The price is right though at least.
One of those questions that never gets old.....
You might want to try using the search button next time. This topic has been covered a gazilllion times.
If you guys head anywhere hit me up, I'll be around most weekends, my new bike still isnt running quite right, but I just picked up a YZ 250 too. I have a truck and trailer if anyones in need of a ride.
This definately has been covered before, so you didnt use the search tab, at least not that well. I could give a fuck less, just lettin you know though.
Unless your racing get the Banshee!
Much more fun to ride then a YFZ, and will keep up with the 450s all day long with a couple mods. Parts for the shee are much much cheaper, and the Banshee is way easier to work on. Sure its technology, but it's also proven to work, and there is a ton of info to be had on them.
Check out the 2001 Trail banshee in my sig. (shameless self promotion)
Thanks for the offer, if I was closer Id take you up on it.
I picked up an 02 YZ250 tonight in decent shape, that I'm going to rip this weekend, we'll se how it turns out, if I don't like it, Ill ditch it.
It's either a factory replacement frame, has no VIN
Or the Vin was ground off. The stamping is so light, its very easy to grind off, and youd never even know.
Either way you may still be able to register it or obtain a VIN depending on the state. In NJ, its tough but you can do it. Look into getting a title for a vehicle with a "custom" or "home made" frame.
