  1. Now I feel bad. I havent been around here in a while, I have to renew my premium member shit. I see between the random picture thread and kids trying to trade 400exs for Banshees not too much has changed. Your doing a helluva job sir.
  2. LOLZ newb, his post count says 100,437 posts or 40.41 per day, the man posts ALOT pwned
  3. I know back a couple years ago the only pipes you could run with RZ cylinders were rockets or Paul Turners, and of course out of frames. Is this still true?
  4. The man has over a hundred thousand posts.
  5. I was wondering what you guys are using to seal the screw in the mod quad quick drian plate. I know this has been asked before but I'm turning up nothing in the search. I think I used teflon tape last time but it seems like it would melt, no?
  6. Are the cyls from Broke's old RZ Shee with the 250R geo frame? Sounds like you have a helluva bike there.
  7. I think the Tusk Kit from Roucky Mountain atv is the best bang for the buck for a mild bike. But its going to be mostly a preference. Nothing wrong at all with the FAST one.
  8. Hey man, I saw your bike, and a few of your posts, you do some awesome work. I was wondering if you could PC a YZ250 expansion chamber for me in like high temp flat black? If so, shoot me a PM, my dude that used to do them closed up shop. Thanks man!!!
  9. They do absoluetly nothing for performance so they wont affect jetting. The only reason to get them would be if the bowls on the carbs are hitting the clutch arm. If you don't have that problem there's really no reason for them, just another place for an air leak to develop.
  10. Yeah, where are ya from too? Maybe somebody on the board is in your area or knows about a good deal.
  11. What up bro. Best advice I can give you id find one that is in good shape. Banshees have been around for ~ 20 years so there are some REALLY shitty ones out there. Look around, and find a nice one at a good price, then jump on it. They are very good bikes IMHO, and are a blast to ride. Parts are cheap, and they are easy to work on. The biggest headache that I hear from most newbs is Jetting, but just like any 2 stroke, stay on top of the jetting and carbs, and 90% of your problems are gone. Good luck bro, and there is a ton of info here.
  12. Never used them, but even if they are sealed bearings your still going to need the oil seals. I used OEM seals when I did my hubs and rear carrier.
  13. What's up bro!! Glad to see you still have the bike. I was thinking about doing a set of those on my build, but nothing fits except a stock stem and stock bars with my big IMS tank.
  14. Damn man, I'll sell you my 2001 Banshee for $5000. You should be able to shop around and find something more decently priced then that. Or else build a bike.
  15. When I was a youngn' my father gave me some good advice. If it has tits or tires it will get you into trouble.
  16. Sounds to me like your jetting is off. The sync tool is the way to go for adjusting slides, but Ive done many bikes without it, and it will work without it. I would NOT run the bike without the airbox lid on, it is NOT jetted for that, and it is NOT a fix. You are just leaning it out then which isnt good. As far as the carb synch, I set my slides at idle first by using the slide adjustment screws(or the TORs tops if you havent removed them) Then I set them at 1/4 throttle using the crab tops where the cable comes in. Is the bike bone stock? No pipes or anything like that? I think they had a 200 main in them stock with a 25 pilot. But don't quote me on that. There definately isnt a 205 in Mikuni jets, so I would double check that too. You should be able to serach the jetting forum and find someone with the same setup so youll know where you should be at.
  17. Damn bro, I would hold onto that beast. Good luck with your sale bump for ya!!
  18. Wow, I see I've missed a lot since I havent been around. I voted for the girlie pics.
  19. Is that a Centurion in the first pic?? If so, is it the 9 or the 40?? I love Berettas, I have a couple of 92s, a PX4, and some other stuff. Ive always wanted a centurion to carry, but I hate the fact that almost all of them are double action only. The DA trigger pull absolutely sucks on the 92s, and I couldnt picture firing like that all the time.
  20. Der de der, must have missed that. Thanks bro!!
  21. And even when they try to kill it, it still sells.
  22. Must be in construction.... I have a whole closet full of free Carhartt shit Ive gotten over the years. Bump for ya bro.
