  1. PM sent, if you wanna hit me up with your e-mail for some pics
  2. I vote to ban him too, but he'll be back, unless he has a static IP his adress will change every couple of months, and he will be unblocked. I still think it's a regular, or someoen on this board playing a joke, nobody could be that much of a friggin moron!
  3. PAGE 2!!! Got any front holeshots? I need something small like 19x6x10 or 20x6x10 if possible. I'd be interested in the 250r, but I have a feeling you are far away from me judging by the area code. Thanks!
  4. I don't know about the compression, but I'd drain it, and pull the water pump cover. This happened to my buddy's bike, and a few people on here. If you have the stock plastic impeller, I'd bet money that it's stripped and shot. You will know once you pull it, that's the frst place I'd check. DOn't buy another plastic one, get a billet one. Good luck!
  5. Yeah, not uncommon, my hangers broke a few times, when the hangers break, the rings will wear faster, then the pipe doesnt seat right, and the oil will run..... Get some aftermarket pipe hangers, try modquad.com They are pretty cheap there, as for the o-rings, I think they are high-temp ones, so any old one won't do, pony up the $$$ and buy the FMF ones, if you could afford $500+ for an exhaust, what's $10 for rings? Just my .02
  6. Wanna sell the extra set of works front shocks? If so, PM me.
  7. location? I need a banshee frame. would also be inetested in the entire 250r, if you were close.
  8. Is this true for all wet clutches? I've always used 10w30 motor oil in all of my dirt bikes. Clymer's even calls speciically for "10w30 motor oil" to be used in the tranny in most of the yz books. I've never changed my shee's tranny oil because I tore it down once I got it.
  9. I'm guessing from the above posts you are over-seas I am 99% sure that banshees will never be for sale in the U.S. ever again. But hey, they're still making 2 stroke cars in other countries, so makes sense, Yamaha definately has a solid platform, why not sell it? I'd like to see a pic if ya got one, I'd be inetersted in how theyre gonna update it in years to come if they keep producing it for other countries. EDIT: Order me one, and score me a Hoody, Adult Large please!
  10. wow, that right there is some damn good advice! It took me along long time, and a top end to figure out all of that out on my own. Still didnt know the whole turns to the new pilot thing.
  11. nope. how many extra hp do those falcon stickers give you? for real, got a pic? I would be interested in seeing it, but it just sounds like a gimmick to me, I really did like the black on black on black limited though.
  12. Nice TRD Tundra pullin' it too, gotta love the Toyotas
  13. Somebody reccomended on ehre when you re-assemble them just use anti-seize, has worked awesome for my buddy so far, and when I get mine back together, I'll know better. I wouldnt use hardwear bolts for tsomething like a-arms, I just don't see them holding up as well, especially in a crash.
  14. I got a set of UFOs for $450(front and rear) plus shipping on e-bay. They were brand new, but had some light marks from sitting around. Good deal, and they have held up very very well, no craking fading, or stress marks. I bought my bike without front fenders or else I wouldnt have bought new ones.I think the UFOs are decently priced new too. I'd check them out, I had a lot of luck with mine.
  15. in the works, I need sooooo much crap it is unbelievable, want some AC Racing nerfs, but that won't be for a while, just bought a new truck, and a whole lot of parts for the shee, so money is tight. Thanks for the bump ellison!
  16. Awesome, just what I like to heard, thanks for the input. My aim with this bike is to build a nice reliable trail machine. If I drag, it is just playing around, and I ride maybe 3-4 times a year. Mostly Paragon, or powerlines. I'm just looking to have something that is all around fun and reliable, I started out with a Kawie Mojave in '01, and bumper up to the banshee in '03, which I rode for 2 years, and it's getting time to replace the suspension and stuff, so I figure I might as well do it up the way I want it. Thanks for the info, funds and energy permitting I should be done in the spring.
  17. Awesome, thanks for the info. I would really like to stay away from race gas though. Next time I do rings, I'm gonna drop on a Noss head, but I was going to stick with stock domes, or maybe one smaller. I'll probably do a K&N after my UNI wears out, will it breathe that much better to have to go up 2 jet sizes? I usually run trails, and see a fair amount of water, so my air box lid is still on. I would bump up to smaller size domes, but race gas is super expensive, and if I go up to NY for 2 or 3 weeks, I know I won't be able to find it up there. Thanks again for the info,
  18. Ok, These are the Works double rate "steelers" they are made for a std. or stock a-arm. I mounted them up, but I have not ridden them. They are in perfect brand new shape, havent even been on the frame but 1 month. They are valved for a 140-180lb rider. I decided to ditch my stock arms, and go with +2+1s, so I need different shocks. I figure it is still early enough where I won't take too big of a hit on these. I paid 380 plus 15 to ship, I would like to get 300 shipped(very firm). The only pic I have is below, of one mounted on my half-finished bike, Thanks for looking!
  19. yeah, just replace meet with your sexually explicit verb of choice, I never understand how they know where you live, computers really bug me out.
  20. ohhh, I thought it was a broken link or something, I dont know shit about computers, I still click on those links that say "girls from NJ want to meet you tonight"
  21. OK, I have basically have FMF pipes and silcers, and a uni filter. I just had my flywheel lightened (by boonman), and put in a ricky stator adjustable timing plate, set to +4. My jetting was perfect before, I might go up 1 size on the main. Anything I should anticipate fixing or buying? I am just trying to build a good all around bike, mostly for trails, not trying to get too crazy. I want the bike to remain reliable, but be quick, with the mods I have done, should I anticipate anything else to make this bike run right, also any other cheap bolt ons I could do? Thanks, as always, much appreciated, EDIT: I should also be fine running 93 pump gas, compression test comes out to 110 or so.
  22. wow dude, awesome deal, bump for ya, did you beadlock those yourself? I was looking to get an extra set I had done.
