we have some questionable guys on the board
LiftdT4R replied to locogato11283's topic in Roostin' Room
Wow, I havent been around in like 6 months but I see nothing has changed on the HQ except this ugly ass skin we have now. -
Actually black to black w/ white stripe. Same shit. Fuck the key, don;t need it, I just run a lanyard in place of the red on/off switch. If someone really wanted to steal it all theyd have to do is put it in neutral and roll it away. For future reference. http://www.dfn.com/benkaren/elecfaq.html Banshee Electrical FAQ

All PMs answered. Dipstick sold, Lights may be sold.

The swinger has the 2 chain skid mounts kind of bent, it is a +2 with roundhouse carrier. The axle is either an LSR or Durablue +4. Take the axle, carrier, axle nut, basically the whole assembly for 250 picked up. I can get some close pics.

Hey, the cables are mostly juk, as far as controls, which controls did you want? All I have left is the clutch and throttle. The clutch anyway has the wrong bolt going through the lever so its a little wobly. The throttle is in awesome shape, and it's a Moose racoing aftermarket one. I'll try and get a closeup of the seat, but there are small tears at the end of the flames and the white vinyl is a little dirty. If you want the seat and tag bars (which are the oversized tube, not standard), Ill take like 50 shipped on MO or 55 shipped paypal, only because the seat costs so much to ship, and I don't really want to take the cover off. Shoot me a PM so the thread doesnt get too cluttered. Thanks bro!

Hey!! I love to deal locally, I should be around after 8 tonight, if I'm not too beat from I'll give you a call.
-
I guess I shouldnt have posted a pic of the bike. Right now I'm only selling the parts listed in the first 2 posts. I will list the other parts as I take them off because I'm very busy working and I'm not really sure the condition of anything else because i havent taken a good look yet. Thanks!!

The seat has a lot of small tears in it, doesnt look great, the nerfs have the nets ripped, and they look to be riveted in. The levers I needed for a buddy, and some small stuff is already spoken for. The motor has no compression on the left side. But is ported and bored by Duncan, I beleive its on its second bore but I wont know until I get it apart. I'm going to list the parts as they come off. That way I know what they are and what condition they're in before I promise them to someone or shoot a price out there. Right now, I'm just selling what's listed in the first 2 posts, I just posted up a pic so Zach could see what the roller would look like.

It's rough shape, but it has a lot of parts, and I do have the Certificate of Origin. +2+1, roundhouse swinger, lsr axle, and works triple rate front shocks. The only thing wrong with the frame is its missing the left rear fender bracket. Make me an offer on it if your interested. I know what the parts go for seperate, and for the right price I'll definately sell the roller. If you need the frame or any parts let me know, I'll cut you a good deal if you can pick them up.

Some people run them, some dont. I never have on any of my bikes. What I like to do is route that line up around the handlebars on my handguards, that way if the bike overheats you can see it starting to spray coolant. I never had any coolant drain into there unless the rad was overfull or the bike was overheating. If I'm not mistaken there is a small valve in the top of the rad that lets out coolant when there is excess pressure, and thats where it goes.
-
Definately. Sounds like a carb issue, you may want to post your mods, and current jetting setup in the jetting forum and see if you can get her dialed in close. You should also check the compression on the cylinders, it could be time for a rebuild. While your at it make sure the reeds look fresh, broken reeds make it run shitty too.

What kind of riding do you do? I have a -1 LSR roundhouse and I love it, Id be afraid to go any shorter though. I do mostly trail riding, and just playing around, mostly fire roads, and it works awesome, the bike hooks up much better and corners easier. But, the front end does tend to come up more. The nice thing about the +2+1 arms is they move the front wheels one inch foward, so by shortening the swing arm 1 or 2 inches, the bike is still pretty stable. I would also have the shock rebuilt for the -2, that will be a big difference, I had mine done from TCS, and it is an awesome combo!! I think there's a few guys here running -2s and I'm sure theyll chime in. Def go for the roundhouse, not a shortened stocker, the carriers are much better!!

Also have a set of trail tech lights, could use a good polishing, and new connectors spliced, 65 shipped. Has hardware. And, a 5.8 gallon IMS tank, with Maier black front fender (cut for tank), and has hole drilled for key. I won't ship this, but if someone local wants it, $40 takes the tank and fender. Also, I'm really really busy at work this week, so I'm only around to answer PMs at night, so if i don't get back to you right away please be patient. Thanks I'm also open for trades for anything cool, I really need a throttle cable for TORS removed stock carbs and throttle, so if you have one in good shape hit me up.

Hey, I'm parting out another Banshee, so I'll be putting up a lot of stuff over the next few weeks. Right now, I really really prefer a MONEY ORDER, but if you want to do paypal shoot me a PM, and add 5% to the price, they charge me an arm and a leg. Of course I can give you an awesome deal if you are in NJ and can pick it up. Here's what I have so far: http://bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=85123 - MY FEEDBACK Cascade Billet Water Pump Cover with bolts 40 shipped Cascade Billet Dipstick, may need a new O-Ring, looks a little crushed, 15 shipped Key Switch, 15 shipped

Hey, what's up bro? I have a dual gasser on my shee, so it's already a twist. I havent been into the Banshees too much lately, all of my buddies are ridin 4x4s now. I put like 500 miles on my Rancher this summer, and the shee didnt get ridden but once or twice. I'm probably not gonna do a j-arm build anytime soon. Thanks for the offer though!!
-
Not sure where I picked them up from before. called FAST and no answer. Anybody know where to buy a cable for stock carbs with no TORS? Thanks guys!!!!
-
Unfortunately I only have a regular powerwheel Jeep, but I'm sure I could rig something up. What about that Tahoe in your sig pic? Let's see some pics!!!!
-
Found this on CL today, pretty neat!!! I might trade this guy a lifted power wheels but nothing more. http://cnj.craigslist.org/bar/1447438371.html

Yes, there is hardly any clearence, its that way on almost every Banshee Ive worked on. Normal...
-
Crazy shit!! Im sure theyll be coming stateside once NYPD gets a wind of them.....
-
Nope, everything should go together just fine. With the stock parts assuming everything is in good shape. It is nice to do a quick drain coolant plate at the same time, but not nessiscary. It has an extra hold and plug tapped into it so you don't have to waste a gasket everytime you change coolant.

Sorry bro, it sold earlier today, but I'm in central NJ near New Brunswick, it would have been a long ride from CT.
