  1. damn, if only they were for 9" rims. Bump for ya, these should go quick!
  2. whoa there! watch the caps, kinda hard on the eyes! Did you loose the whole petal or just part of it, I don't see the whole petal getting sucked in through the intake, but a part of it maybe. And yeah, you will definately be splitting the cases to clean that up.
  3. Check the gap between the pickup coil and the flywheel. SHould be .020" between them. You want to measure between the "square bump" on the flywheel. You can also use a matchbook cover to get a rough estimate. My guess is the gap is too large.
  4. Probably more like 1lb or less, some companies are up there for shipping to other countries, I would check the shipping before I bought it, but that's just me.
  5. Yeah, gonna have to know what kind of intake setup you have too? still have the airbox? lid or no lid? Don't have the stealership install jets, pick up a clymer, and do it yourself, it is easy once you get the hang of it. FMF probably sent you the wrong jets. They sent me crazy big ones, and it sounds like the case with yours too. They sent me 380s, which was crazy rich, and if your boggin' out, your jets are probably too big and your runnin too rich. Find out what jets you have, and also your intake elevation, and normal riding temps. If you have an air box you should be around 260 with a lid, 320 without, and 340 with pods. Just a rough estimate, need more info from ya though, but I'm willing to bet it's a jetting problem.
  6. Hey if your ever out in NJ hit me up!
  7. My elbow is super sore this morning, I usually work weekends, and I'm pretty stick until the end of spetember, but if you guys give me like a weeks notice, I'd love to get out there. I can only bend this shit like half way, and I gotta swap stems and grab bars with my '01 so I atleast have one decent bike. Thanks for the offer man, I'll be out there soon!
  8. Count me in too, might be time to turn my 02 into a drag bike.
  9. Ok, after seein vids of ellison wheelin' it up, and rmembering how easy it was to wheel my KFX, I took to the streets to practice some wheelies. Didnt go soo hot, the front end would come up, when I dumped the clutch, but it would fall right down. I'm kinda light, only 140lbs, so I tried to shift my weight back farther, dumped the clutch, and the bike came right out from under me when I hit the powerband and the bike came right out from under me. Just one of those oopes I guess, I've been riding for 10 years now, and I never could wheelie a 2 stroke. Anyway, the banshee went up on a curb, flipped, bent my stem, snapped the grab bar, and I got some nasty rash on my new IMS tank. Whatever, could care less, but I got some rash on my elbow, and spraned it, so I'll be out of work for a few days. Here is a link to a pic of elbow, figured some people ight be a little squemish, althougb it's nothin' terrible. http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e130/JHupp06/P1010133.jpg
  10. That's what I was thinking too, I didn't want to be so harsh, but, it is doable, but your going to be babying the clutch ALOT, and really taking it easy. I've never rideen a 535 cheetah, I rode an unworked 421 cheetah once, and it held its own on +2+1 arms, and a stock length swinger and axle. I was able to keep the front end down a lot. I like the Mike Tyson reference too :yelrotflmao:
  11. I know where your comin' from on that. That is what I did with my '01, if you go +2+1 up front it really does just even it up with the back. And it handles much better too. To be honest, and I know chase will tell you otherwise, I personally wouldn't want all that power through trails, especially tighter technical ones. The banshee is a tougher trail bike to ride allready. I'm hoping to have my '01 setup up pretty good when it's done, I'm gonna do a stock length swinger, +2+1 arms, with some decent shocks, and I think that will make a world a difference. What it comes down to on trails for me is that: Even though a bike gets faster and faster it still doesnt make it through some trails any quicker. When me and my buddies ride, I keep up fine with a blaster, and I keep up fine witth a 125, the banshee is a little easier to do it with though. Just my .02 and I'm sure people will disagree. It also depends a little bit on what kind of trails your riding, I tend to ride tighter andd more technical stuff, if you look at some of Chases's pictures, the trails are more open, a straighter run, and full of sand. I wouldnt mind the power there at all. I've ridden a 421 cub in upstate NY last time I went, and honestly the only time it was really quicker through the trails was when we came out onto fire roads, I tend to think a good pipe setup, a good intake setup, timing advance, and lightened flywheel(flywheel depends more on riding style though) were damn cheap, and made a world of difference. There are also more bottom end improvements too. Just my .02, and good luck, whatever you decide to do.
  12. Nice! You got those allready? I'm still waiting on my UFOs, what kind of shape were yours in?
  13. I paid a g for a whole running banshee, check out the '02 in my sig, only thing it didnt have was a rear fender. The price seems about even if you ask me, I've never bought a banshee engine without a frame(hahaha), but from the prices I see it seems about on par, not an awesome deal, not a looser. What are you doing with the bike, drag, trails, dunes....... etc. If your dragging or duning, I'd say go for it, I rode a 420 cheetah, and the thing fuckin' flew!!! I wouldnt want it for trails, or MX, but it was a wild ass ride.
  14. I picked mine up on here for $100 shipped from a guy that used it for one season. They are nice tanks, and they definately hold more gas then stock. I don't see them on here that much, did you try flea-bay? Here's a pic of mine on my bike with stock bars(which worked fine too), and missing the back fender.
  15. banshee-tuner he's tough to get a hold of, he sold me the stock jet assortment, I'm guessing you have aftermarket carbs by the size, he should have them too. EDIT: durrrr, I see you have Keihins in your post title, he should have those
  16. I run one on my '02, and I never noticed a problem with the bars hitting/rubbing the tank. I run renthal banshee bends, which "curve" up a little higher then some of the other bends, but I still have enough room.
  17. hahahahaha, I was thinking more along the angry dragon lines
  18. If you have some awesome tires it might help a little bit. Rs are quick as hell though through the first couple of gears. Somebody on here made a set of dirt paddles, I'd make a set too real quick so you don't get your ass handed to you ass bad by a 14 year old (although maybe he doesn't know how to ride and you'll win)
  19. hahahahaha, :yelrotflmao: you never really wish a DUI or leaked sex tape on anyone, but when it happens to her, it's just soo damn funny
  20. How much for the rear works shock? PM me a price, very interested. EDIT: need a rear fender too, as long as it's not cut.
  21. Well, I don't know much about jetting ported bikes, but if your running stock Mikuni carbs, I can tell you that is way way way way tooooooo low. I run 260s on my stockers with a full air box, FMFs, and no port job. I've heard of guys being up around 400 or so with porting, but I don't know the exact jet size. I can tell you that is too low, but I'm sure someone will chime in with some more help.
  22. That's the oldest trick in the book, they don't really fall for that anymore unless you get a stupid ass rep. They are pretty damn good at telling if your serious about cancelling your plan or not, it is their job. My buddy used to be a rep, and half the time they will say "go ahead, leave", You have to pay an early termination fee usually $300-$500, so they make out either way. The only way they will pay any attention to your empty threats is if you are a business customer and have 5+ lines, otherwise, they could care less, they mae out if you stay, or make out if you leave. I have Sextel, and I honestly thought about leaving, called them up, and they wound up giving me a month free on my bill after I got half way through the cancellation process. This used to work pretty well from what I heard, but they know better now. EDIT: even if they do give you a free phone, I would imagine you would have to commit to another 2 years of service, or at least do a contract extension
  23. I just knew someone was gonna put some good shit in that pipe. :yelrotflmao: BAN THAT COCK SMOKER, his posts are sooo useless, and he's annoying as shit.
