  1. Location? I'd be inetersted in the plastics, but don;t wanna ship.
  2. Yeah, I'm going to agree with Duner, through all the trouble I have had in the past with law enforcement, I've never been asked for a VIN, title, registration, or any other way to show I won the bike. Evene on my trips to the impound, I have never been asked for more then a liscense. Like Duner said, most cops proabably don't even know where the VIN is. I wouldnt be too worried, even if you don't call, but have that notarized bill of sale, that is going to cover you damn well in a court of law. Good luck bro!
  3. Depending on where you live, or where the bike came from, it may have never been titled. Here in NJ we just rectently started titling ATVS, so anything that's 2004? or older won't have a title, unless you really really wanted one when you bought it. I don't have titles for either of my shees, or for most of my bikes. A notarized hand written recipt with the VIN number, sale price, etc. is all you need to have the bike registered(plus insurance). And the only reason I do that is so I can get my bike out of impound when that happens. I would call the DMV.police, check the VIN, if it comes up clean, a notarized hand written receipt is more then you will need. I have done this on most of the bikes I have bought, and in NJ anyway it has ot failed me. Good luck on that blaster sale too!
  4. I love my boost bottle, it's helped me win many a rces. If someone's passing you, just throw it at them.
  5. Hmmm, that last part makes sense, I never though of it like that. I ride mostly trails, with my bikes, and my banshee, and I do think there is some truth to that, I personally don't mind it, but I think it is a very good point!
  6. damn, if this dude wanted a big ass radiator just chillen' on the front of the bike he shoulda bought a banshee!
  7. Where you at bro? I have a feeling the shipping would kill me.
  8. I second that, a good set of shocks will probably give you the biggest bang for the buck in trails. There is only soo much fatsre you can make the bike, and it doesnt really help it to get through the trails any quicker. Definately do the suspension first.
  9. Hahaha, thanks for the offer, I pulled the stem off my '02 since it won't be done any time soon, I want to go +1 or +2 when I build my 01 back up. Thanks though!
  10. I run one of my shees with a twist throtle and one with a thumb throttle. I like the twist throttle better, mostly because I grew up on dirtbikes, so it's just what I'm used to. A lot of people seem to be afraid of it, but I don't know why, if youve never had one on a quad, it's worth a shot. You might end up keeping it.
  11. Interested in selling just the 4-snow tires (no rims)? I can't use those rims, but I have an extra Yamaha set here. Also, do you know the size on them? Thanks,
  12. location? I need rears, but these things are bitch to ship, they never get to me without being messed up.
  13. got pics of the radiator, and the bumper?
  14. Not to be an asshole, but the roman numeral for 4 is IV not IIII.
  15. Damn! Now if those fuckers don't look inbred then I don't know who does. See what having an Aunt Mom and an Uncle Dad does to kids!
  16. This guy knows his shit! I'm on my second clymer! I read and used the first one so much the pages fell out, best bang for your buck, and probably one of the cheapest things you can buy that' banshee related. Let's see some pics!
  17. :shoothead: even if you could get them for like a buck, I still wuldnt take them. I never understood why they don't make banshee plastics for other quads, afterall, it is the best bike out there.
  18. Thanks for the feedback man! Its Liftd T 4 R, but I'll let it slide, it was a good attempt. I'll put those customcrackers decals on my trailer, kind of bump for ya a little!
  19. 280 is a little lean to start with for pods on stock carbs. I would think you would want to be up in the 320-340 area. As for the bore, I'm not sure, somebody here should chime in though. Also, your riding temps, and elevation would help too.
  20. Yeah, stock stem, and Renthal Banshee Bend Bars(same spec as stock). It looks like it only needs an extra 1/2" or so to clear everything.
  21. Damn, doesnt seem like 5 years ago allready. It's still hard for me to believe. I was in Northern NJ that Tuesday morning, getting a timing belt at STS in my g/fs car. I was reading a magazine when the TV flashed to a picture of the tower after it got hit by the first plane. We went outisde and we could se the smoke from the tower. I watched the whole thing there, and to this day I still can't beleive what happened, I can only imagine how tough it must be for the familys who lost people there.
  22. Just in case you were wondering, I checked today, and mine does hit at full lock. It only rubs a bit, but I'm going to see if I can find a spacer now that I noticed. Sorry for the misinformation yesterday.
  23. You would think it would run lean. Check the filter, it might be really really dirty?
  24. Nice, I didn't get my UFOs yet, but I am all the way out in Jersey, what kind of arms are those up front? Sweet bike!
  25. Post up some pics of the blaster, someone might trade, you never know. There a ton of good bikes out there for a decent price. Just to let you know, I paid a g for my 2002, and it came with most of the mods listed in my sig. This is how it looked when I bought it. The plastics were cut, and it had a lot of oil in it, but it runs perfect now. The blasters are nice bikes, I had one a while back, and they are plenty fun on the trails, easy to kick around, and pretty reliable. If you lurk around here long enough or planet sand, there is bound to be a good deal. You'll notice a world of difference if you bump up to a banshee!
