  3. I've heard elka doesnt do the best job on revalving.
  4. Does anybody know where I could send my front elkas to get revalved? I bought the bike off a guy that was apparently waay lighter than I was or else he wasnt as aggressive and they need to get stiffened up a little. Im looking for a good shop, I dont want to spend a crapload of cash on nothing. Any help is appreciated. :thumbsup: Oh yeah, I ride mx if it matters. These are the shocks but mine are triple rate.

  11. hollow 1/8th" thick. Its off a rack used to transport new motorcycles to dealerships.
  12. I did a search and got alot of information about them but I still need to know if it would be alright to make struts for the front and rear out of 1" square steel tubing. I saw one post that said you could make them out of aluminum, so Im guessing this will be fine. If you have any specific lengths that work the best feel free to share them, cause I have no idea where to start. And by the way Ill be running it in 200-300 foot dirt and sand drags.

  16. I always thought my .125's were plenty strong. I've broken my footpeg off and cracked a swingarm in 2 places, bent an axle, blown a rear shock and the wheels are good as new. I do see how they would be crap for xc.

  18. I saw djackbanshee's motor in another topic and realized I dont know crap about crankers and there are probably a couple others out there like me. So if everyone could give some info about what all parts you have to get to make it run, ballpark prices and things like that I would do the happy dance.
  19. or go to a salvage yard and get the clutch out of an R6. I know the fibers fit and they work waaay better than stock.
  20. First question, is there a special wrench to stiffen the springs? And second question, could I just use a big ass wrench and a rag to stiffen them up or do you think it would kill the annodizing?
