  10. It all depends on what type of riding you do. If you ride sand or drag race of course they're not worth it. Douglas is also a good choice but when you bend the wheel you have to buy a whole new wheel. If you break a peice on a hiper you can just buy that peice and replace it. I got a set on my YFZ and love them, if you have the money and ride mx or xc or just want them for the looks I say go for it. edit: You probably wont break anything on the hiper but if you somehow do you can easily replace it. Hiper also gives a warranty on the Tech3's. The CF1's are cheaper and a little lighter but dont have a warranty.
  11. Thanks for the responses guys, I havent been able to get on in a few days. If you could get him to get pictures of his banshee that would be freakin awesome. Next time you see him tell him I said hey cause he's basically my favorite rider/builder ever.
  12. What happened to him? I remember he used to be huge in the banshee scene a while back and then just sort of dissapeared. Also, does anybody have any pictures of his old red and yellow banshee? Its by far my favorite bike.
  13. We had a baby opossum as a pet for a couple months. We called it sweety, that thing had a bigass mouth. We also had a baby raccoon. It was my favorite pet ever, I'd take another coon over a dog or cat anyday.
  14. just top out your arms and measure a little shorter.
  15. I guess I jinxed myself. Saturday afternoon me and my girlfriend were riding and all the sudden it felt like she slammed on the front brakes. Then she said "oh shit" and I saw the front tire looking at the bumper. The bolt that holds the lower hiem end toghether came out and luckily it was still in the wheel when I got off to check everything. I got everything back toghether and today when I took it apart to check the others I noticed there was some kind of grease all in the threads. I cleaned all of it out and locktighted the bolts. Hopefully they'll stay toghether. Just glad nobody/no parts were harmed. Check those bolts!

  18. I got a set of janssen xc arms on my yfz and I love them. The heim ends havent gave me any trouble yet, I've rode in some pretty bad mud a few times too. If you get them I dont think you'll be dissapointed.
  19. If your motor can can handle nitrous they probably wouldnt want to race you even if you didnt have it.
  20. Is the suspension stock? Does it have an extended swingarm? The reason I ask is because most stock banshees are basically as high as they can get.

  25. Thats what I meant, I just made it easier to understand. If your shock is topped out like most stock shocks are and you up the preload it basically stiffens the spring. I know that may not be exactly what it does but thats the easiest way to explain it. Most people have no idea what it means when you say. "The rate of a spring is the change in the force it exerts, divided by the change in deflection of the spring. That is, it is the gradient of the force versus deflection curve."
