  1. I dont think so, I had some old trekker paddles (dont remember who made them) that were all tore up. Only about 50% of the paddles were still there. Its usually not that you overpower them unless they're almost slick. What you need to worry about is too much traction. The faster you spin paddles in the sand the better they hook up. Its just trial and error of how much traction you want versus handling.
  2. Seems like everybody one here is from the west coast or up north. Tell us where you guys stay. This may be a reposted topic. If so sorry.
  3. I know this isnt anything about banshees or even atv's but it really pisses me off. I was riding my bike the other day, after I did a small grind I started watching my friends and these little kids and their parents came up to me and started asking all these bullshit questions. I'm not sure if some of them were serious or not, but they did ask the one question I always get from people like them, "can you backflip?". I mean come on, they could think of a better question than that :shoothead: . The only reason that it even bugs me is that if you say yes to make them go away, they usually ask more questions about it or they want to see it. If you say no they give you that "why are you even trying then?" look. I probly shouldnt worry about it. But anyway, have youguys got any always asked questions besides "how fast will that thing go?"
  4. I think I have the same problem, except I have a cascade grill. It burps antifreeze after about an hour. It runs fine but I dont want to kill my baby.
  5. What size? How much better do the gnarlys hook if you cut them. I've heard a bunch of people use them for drag racing.
  6. I need some help. I'm about to buy some new tires and wheels sometime this winter and I was just wondering which tires are the best all around. I really dont want bubble tires or tires that wear out in 3 seconds. I usually ride either pavement or grass. Thier building a motocross track near my house so Ill be riding that once they get it up. The only tires I can get to hook up are 23'' turf tamers. (they look like hot air baloons) Also do any of you guys have any recommendations for a cheap good looking bead lock for the rear? Any help would be really appreciated.
  7. :baseball_w00t: Is this where you sign up for the tator tots? I sure do love tator tots........ What? Rocket Pipes? Ummmmmm.......... Sure sign me up.
  8. Hey, what color is your powerband? Mines red carbon fiber with silver sparkles. If you look at it for too long you will start drooling. :yelrotflmao:
  9. NOS??????? sheefreak, you sound like a ricer. Maybe you should be asking things about nitrous yourself. If you know anything about nitrous you should know that "NOS" is a company name not another name for nitrous. I would like to spray just to see how much of a difference it makes . Anybody tried it before? Could you feel the difference, or just see it on the time sheet?
  10. I know this has nothing to do with your question but did you know you can put R6 clutches in a banshee? :baseball_w00t:
  11. yeah, I should show him some real graffiti and see how he does. Maybe he could teach me a little. hahaha
  12. NO HE DIDNT! my dad tore that ass up. When I said he handled it alot better than I would have, I meant that I would have also made him clean up all the paint and whipped him than probly ground him. Oh yeah he's 5 yrs. old so he always gets off easy. :shoothead:
  13. Well, today when I got home from school I did my homework as usual and went out to the shop to go for a golfcart ride. When I walked out there I saw my little brother looking all suspicious like he done something, so I asked and he said he hadn't. He walked away and out of the corner of my eye I saw a black spot on some plywood. I instantly knew what it was, because the day before my dad had let my brother and sister spraypaint some cardboard. The black spot also had a lot of friends. My dad works on other peoples quads as sort of a side job and my bro had spray painted the tires of somebodys trx450r a blaster a set of 4-snows, two antifreeze jugs, the gastank off the 450r, half the can had to be on the floor, he painted the golfcart, my old warrior :baseball_wibble: , my dads toolbox and a hell of a lot more random crap just laying around. I thought my dad was going to bust a spring, but he stayed calm and handled it a lot better than I would have. When I asked him why he did it he said he didnt know..... Figures.
  14. Yeah but its got beadlocks......... Gotta be fast to have those
  15. It's not really what you would call a "rev limiter" but at the same time it is. It's just like what a couple people said on here already, it just revs up as high as it can go. All motors have different "rev limiters" depending on mods. One could be 10,000 another could be 10,500 or anywhere inbetween. When you miss a shift it revs to an extent and just stays there so its either something electrical like the stator or the motor just cant get anymore rpm's. Get what I'm sayin? :baseball_wassat:
  16. I've had some Works triple rate remote rez. shocks on my shee for a while now, and I was just wondering if anybody has any comments about works. (like if they break easily or have any weak points)
  17. +4 and +6 have basically the same handling. Its all about how you ride and the tires. Even a stock lenght shee can handle crappy if you have BIG agressive paddles on it. I run +6 on my banshee and the front stays down, you can still get it up if you try though.
  18. Speaking of school, bio hazard banshee needs to learn that the little "f" at the end of YFZ350F means four stroke.
  19. Why does everybody think that the busashee is so fast? I mean, it is really quick, but give a banshee four cylinders, a turbo and a 100hp. shot of nitrous and it could kick some ass too. Actually all a banshee needs is a turbo and a 100 shot of nitrous and I think it would keep up with the busashee.
  20. Yeah, they used to be some really big hills out there. Everybody used to take buggies out there back in the early 90's, then it kind of slowed down. On a holiday you might see around 20 or 30 people out there.
  21. My problem is that my Banshee isnt fast enough anymore. Not that it needs a rebuild or anything, I'm just used to the power . All I want to know is if anybody has any secrets or anything to give it a little more kick. I've already had my banshee ported, bored .60 over, pipes, rods, pistons, the usual. I dont have enough money to go with a stroker or big bore cylinder kit, and I def. dont want nitrous. So if anyone can help me out I would really appreciate it.
