number one rule, know the track. Dont get stupid and think you can keep up with everybody. If you ride outside of your limits your gonna get hurt. Take it slow and get comfortable, thats probably the best thing to do even before suspension tuning.

hahaha that was me man, It was an inside joke. There was a guy on there a while back saying his bone stock 400ex would outrun 450's and shee's all day. Then he went on to say his friends 440ex would do well over 100mph. lol And yes they are fast drag racing and may be able to outrun most stock 450's, but he's talking about climbing steep hills. Not racing but seeing who can climb the steepest hill.

Actually the motors in the KTM 450 and 525 are basically straight out of the bikes. The motors in the outlaws are some that ktm made just for poolaris. SOHC slower revving, and heavier.

I run pro taper contours. I have them in the cr bend, just make sure if you get fat bars you order the fatbar clamps.

I bent my rear caliper on my yfz once and it made feel like I had a lot of air in the lines. Check it too.

He said it was the first time its been ridden.... Now I dont know about you, but I'd be scared as shit to get on that for the first time. I def. wouldnt be hillshooting and testing the top speed. lol

Dont get me wrong they're fast as hell. I think the 525 IRS could outrun/keep up with my piped yfz. I dont know if its just the rider or reliability issues, but they are always coming back with MAJOR engine problems.

The quality is def. better than it has been in past years, so is the customer service. The 4x4's are pretty good bikes, but all I've seen out of the new outlaws is trouble. Every one thats came back for work has a blown motor or torn boots (IRS). IMO, I wouldnt take one unless it was a built bike that didnt have hardly any Poo laris parts on it. You should stick with yamaha, suzuki, kawasaki or honda.

Eh, they're decent. Too many problems with the KTM motors. I think in a couple years they'll be pretty good though. It'll give them enough time to work out the kinks.

Im not 100% sure but I havent seen or heard ANYTHING from them in a loong time and they used to be pretty popular. Edit: found this... "Graydon Proline didnt actually manufacturer their products. They had snother company fabricate all of their parts for them. They may have had something to do with tooling up the other company or not, I am not sure. In the end, for whatever reason the company that was manufacturing their products became unhappy with the business relationship and decided to go public. That company is X Factor. X Factor went back into fabricating for another company, but is now selling to the public again. I dont have any info about the sport bikes but the utility bikes are going to have completely new bodywork and are rumored to be getting an 850 v-twin with 70hp stock. Im almost 100% sure the rangers will have power steering.... Another rumor is that there will be an all new bike designed to compete with the can-am renegade. So basically a fat, automatic, IRS sport quad. There may be a few changes to the rzr but I dont think it will be much if anything. If Im wrong on any of this dont shoot me. If your wanting to buy a polaris I would def. wait till the 09's come out and see if the updates are worth while. There will also be some pretty good sales on all the older model bikes also after the 09's are shipped. If anybody else knows anything about this let us know.
