  1. Ray has been around for a while. He's always been legit.
  2. why not start with a leak down..... If your adding fuel to a leaking motor... it wont fix anything . Start with a leak down.. if it passes then add fuel.
  3. depends on the builder. some builders like to use the BB pipes. My brother uses BB's on his 10 cub.. works great. Why not use super cub pipes? Best curve I have seen used BB CPI on a 472 super.
  4. I wouldn't take it to that "builder" again... he's clueless.. That bike could run on 89 octane if properly setup. The pipes have no affect on fuel requirements, and with 22cc domes.. you dont need anywhere near 110.
  5. that nacs bottle is far better then other versions currently available.
  6. 22cc domes and c12? I would use c16 it gives better gains across the power band. Boost bottle is good for 4hp when installed correctly. I say you can take him.
  7. I have converted 35mm to 40mm with no issues. I did buy a new crush tube for it.
  8. have you contacted LSR? seems a call to them would clear this right up. The crush tube should be in there.
  9. Shaws can be setup to work well for dune riding. You can't just buy a set off ebay and expect them to work correctly. It starts with ordering the correct shock. Call Marvin shaw and talk to them.
  10. just like the title says.. i'm looking for 1 or 2. Let me know.
  11. i would worry more about the dome profile then the cc's.. call a builder give them the motor specs.. they'll suggest a dome for your setup.
  12. I predict 38 beers. 14 cans floating and a full case left under the trailer. I think predicting beer count is more fun.
  13. IMO, not unless your have bigger builds in mind. anything high strung or a builds using bigger carbs, i'd start to look at chariot or VF.
  14. on the smaller builds, the boyesen reeds perform just as good as VF. Some reeds on stock cages actually had a better curve. once the motor gets more high strung the VF starts to pull away. I have used Power reeds, pro series reeds, Pyramid cages, chariot cages, VF1,2, and 3's and on the stockish motors I prefer the pro-series reeds on stock cages or chariot cages. I use chariot cages on everything other then my big bike which has VF3's.
  15. I use them on my 450 and I love them. Never used elka's.
  16. I've also used a lightend flywheel for many years. I did get rid of it for a stock flywheel.. wishing I had it back now.
  17. We've all seen your work.. and your worried about his?
  18. didn't know that. so its a Trinity clone? Sorry, I got off topic here.
