  1. I think its closer to 600 for the raptor because it comes with a new intake.. I know Duncan racing sells them and I found afew on ebay for 639.00
  2. I use Duncan's FATBOY 4 system and I went with hotcams over the cam mod.. I heard NMotion and Ron Woods are pretty good exhaust systems as well as sparks big core exhausts. I use the pro-flow kit with K&N for intake.
  3. I use holeshot XCR's on my 450 for trails. Probably the best tire I've owned so far... 6 ply and light weight. my 2 cents....
  4. You take out the stuffer that came with the VF'3 ( they have the round opening) and replace it with cascade's stuffer and it will open up the cage to match square intakes. Its basicly a square ring to stop the reeds from falling out when the stuffer is removed. I would highly recomend them over porting the stuffer. I hope I explained it well enough.
  5. RMATV was the cheapest from what I found. The free shipping helps and no sales tax helped me.
  6. I was just going to say CGL
  7. I'm sure it wasn't a CR500 I didn't say it didn't have valves. I found a fiche of it.. Its a 1983 HONDA XL600R here's part numbersVALVE, REED 16311-MG3-000 001 $8.40 13 STOPPER, REED VALVE 16312-MG3-000 001 $4.10 And ya'll probably thought I was crazy...
  8. I got a set from them last week. They fit great and match my intakes perfect. I was looking for a dyno comparision with different cages to see how my pyramids actually did.. I didn't didn't realize it would be that bad... A moded stock cage did better.. Thanks for that info.
  9. Talking about wierd... how about a 4 stroke with reeds! I saw one last year. I think it was a old 500 honda dirt bike..
  10. I've had the pyramids and I wasn't impressed at all. And I've talked to Loren and Lenny many times. Infact I had to send them back to duncan because the cage itself was distorted and wouldn't let the reeds lay flat on the cage. This was after only about 20 hrs of use. Dont get me wrong I really like the guys over at duncan, probably some of the best tech support I ever had. I just dont like their reed cages. I think there is ALOT better out there for alot better price.
  11. If I'm not mistaken the lt250r had a case reed system and the reeds were underneath the cylinder.
  12. I was there saturday but I pretty much just stayed at the strip, way too much mud in the trails for me.
  13. just wondering if anyone made it out there?
  14. Here is two of my toys I know my paddles are backwards... I just threw them on there to roll it out for the photo 450 has 13.5 comp piston, hotcams, pro-flow K&N, Vortex CDI, full Fatboy4, (HP4 Valve kit next year) Also got a Raptor660 and another banshee dont have photo's though
  15. Same here, got one on my 450 and it takes abeating. Still looks like the day I bought it.
  16. Mods are T-5, open airbox with k&n, VF2's Stock porting and Compression, elevation is sea level and temp around 75. I got these carbs from a guy and dont know what he was running them on. So if I could get a ball park figure on where to start it would be great. Also need to know what needles to use incase this guy switched the needles. Any help would be greatly appreciated
  17. same here no problems and they've been in the bike for about 4 yrs now.
  18. I was thinking of getting a custom set made. About how much do they cost?
  19. I use the Durablue on my YFZ450. No problems there. I've used the TEAM firestick axle's and there good too. But there all pricey. I'm gonna try the G-force myself on my banshee. $200 and lifetime warranty.. I'll try anything once.(almost anything)
  20. I agree. Jim can point you in the right direction.
  21. I got a Durablue X-33 and a Team firestick. I like them both.
  22. I've used the PT Hi-rev's, PT mids and T-5's. The Hi-rev's have decent bottom and good midrange and have a great top end. I had T-5's (best all around pipe) and wanted more topend but like you didn't want to give up all bottom and mid. The Hi-rev's fit the bill. I did loose a little bottom and midrange but gained it on the top. Great pipe for the ocasional drag race. just my 2 cents....
  23. $200 on frame $65 for silvervien candy blue on swingarm and $40 for clutch cover same as swingarm
  24. Every one of my builders have told me to use 927. I've had no problems with it.
