  1. Just got mine last week and Its the best clutch pull I've ever felt.. Very smooth
  2. I had the duncan Hi-rev porting and I liked it alot. They do good work but they are pricey compared to other builders. But I like my passion porting better There are a few builders on here that do very good work for less. Try a search and see what you come up.
  3. The stuffer I was refering to is a plastic peice that mounts inside of the cage. Its square and has a circle cut in the middle. I wish I had a picture of one. Its not part of the intake manifold.
  4. If it has two sets of inputs its probably a dual voice coil. I would always connect both coils. Sounds like you got a burnt coil.
  5. Its the platic insert that chokes down the opening.
  6. did you take out the stuffer?
  7. I just think their customer service sucks. But my cousins banshee has a trinity motor and it runs pretty strong... especially for a stock stroke and bore.
  8. Thats some good stuff there.. NICE bikes guys
  9. I'll be there from the 13 to the 23 I'll be staying at jellystone... I got the family with me on this trip...
  10. I normally use 75wt Bel-ray gear saver, but I switched back to 10w30(yamalube) when I started having the problem with the clutch. Its a brand new hinson basket, brand new inner hub, brand new clutch cable. I put the stock clutch perch back on. I adjusted the adjuster nut on the clutch so the arm was a little infront of the arrow on the case and I set it so it was behind the arrow and I set it to spec and no matter what it keeps doing it. But if I take out all of the free play out on the clutch lever and then turn it a extra 1/4" inch or so it stops crawling. But the clutch was strung so tight i'm not about to leave it there. Its almost like i'm not getting enough pull on the lever. any other ideas? I already checked the push rod and ball there both fine.
  11. I put in a new clutch kit last year (Duncan) and swaped out the stock perch for a cheap aftermarket perch and ever since I did this my banshee now wants to creep forward while I pull the clutch in and rev it up. So I dont think my clutch is disengageing all the way. I switched back to my barnett plates and it still did it. I called Duncan and they think it was my perch. The perch I was using was a cheap Magnum universal perch and lever. I was just wondering if anyone else had this problem? I double checked every adjustment and the clutch arm lines up with the arrow on the case. The clutch cable is a little old (99') but it is well lubed and free. Any Idea's??
  12. I saw that you have a timing plate.. whats your pickup coil gap set at? I had a similar problem last weekend and that ended up being the problem.
  13. I'll be getting mine on the dyno maybe around mid july sometime. I'll post it when I get it done. I'm still breaking it in and jetting right now.
  14. That center mount looks sweet... I dont think they'll let me in the dunes out here with it. I had trouble passing the sound check with my Duncan exhaust. and its looks like it would be hard to add a spark arrestor. They dont want us to catch the sand and driftwood on fire.
  15. I agree. The PT's are great pipes. I would start with some good reeds (if it doesn't already have them) and bump up compression, and maybe a adjustable timing plate.
  16. When I was a mechanic at a yamaha dealer I never seen 01's come through with tranny problems. I heard they were having problems I just never saw it. I did see many problems with the starter clutch gears.
  17. I still got it. Its a problem with the FCR carb and the accelerator pump, Boyessen makes a quick shot pump thats supposed to cure it. Its never really bothered me much so I havn't spent the extra 80 bucks for it yet. The sparks exhaust is top notch, you'll be happy
  18. Duncan claims 5-10% increase in HP and torque... But that just what there claiming could be less.. I think it would be worth it just to get rid of them damn mikuni's.... Man I hate jetting them things.
  19. It up the displacement to 449cc from the stock 439cc. The 06' models use the 63.4mm stroke crank now
