  2. It always costs me money too... I'm kinda a impulse buyer and he always seems to have everything instock....
  3. I thought there was a 20mph speed limit on the beach? Maybe they took the signs down...... Like others said I would gear down if you feel the need to touch 6th.. Most of my riding is in 2nd or 3rd and somtimes 4th on the flats..
  4. The extra width and 18" tires dont make it very trail freindly at all... I would say the more rounded machine would be the honda or yamaha.... just my 2 cents
  5. I was using 165 mains 55 pilots and CGL needle in 3rd clip on my Duncan National motor But I'm close to sea level with temp around 70-80.
  6. I seen them on DASA's website http://www.teamracersedge.com/
  7. How else do you learn??? Gota start somewhere..
  8. I use the Tag T2 kit for the Banshee. And I've used CR Dbl High bends
  9. I use sunocco 110 I think its around 4.00/gallon I paid about 225 for the drum. It was 4.25 at the pumps.
  10. i'll be going labor day weekend.. I'll be at Val Du
  11. I'm from michigan and I had a Duncan National motor. I wasn't Impressed by the port work. It looked like any other port job to me. I was 10 times more impressed with Jim's (Passion) 12-port porting. Like dajogejr said the tunnel/boost/boyesen/what ever else you wanna call them ports is nothing new. I used to be on the Duncan "bandwagon" also. I was on the 04' support team and both my quads were built from ground up with Duncan products. But I realized their were ALOT of builders that focused more on the banshee and could build me a motor more suited to my needs. When it comes to the banshee I felt Duncan was falling behind and was more focused on the new 4-strokes. Duncan has great customer service and does great work with the new 4-strokes. I just think there is better places to go for banshee work. I'll be the on zillionth person to say a boost bottle is better used as a paper weight. I had Duncan Master Flow intake and switched to a Boss intake with a built in ballance tube and I didn't notice a bit of difference. Except for a cleaner looking egine since I didn't have the big chunk of aluminum sitting infront of my carbs.
  12. My lock out spins true but the adjuster nut as a slight wobble to it..
  13. My cousin has a set of trinity stage IV's and the fit and finish was very nice.. Just as good as my T-5's. The trinity's use a slip fit and dosn't use the exhaust couplers wich made for a clean look. Plus I like the spark arrestor kit (end caps) better then my Toomey's sparky type arrestors.. In my opinion power was very similar... Both pipes are very nice...
  14. I'll agree, The sparks exhaust would be a great choice. I use the Duncan Fatboy4 exhaust and have no complaints. The only other exhaust I tried was the GYT-R full system.. I'm not saying its bad set-up but I prefer the power delivery of the Duncan and Sparks systems better.
  15. whats your mods and what is your jetting and elevation with what type of carbs? I had a similar problem and i turned out to be electrical (pick-up coil gap)
  16. probably have to take it out and regrease it. I do mine once a year.
  17. why wont you get in? spark arrestors or sound?
  18. I thought there was big difference between the Hi-rev's and Mid's. My bike felt alot more snappy with the mids over the hi-rev's but they didn't have the top end pull. With the Hi-rev's you loose that snap that the mids have but you get a alot stronger mid-top power. I was on duncans support team and I got some good discounts on the pipes so I got to try both of them. If your running rockets now I would suggest the Hi-revs. I've never owned rockets but I'm guessing the Hi-revs would be more trail friendly with better bottom/mid power but I dont think they will have as good of top end as the rockets.
  19. Before I bought my v-force I considered the SRP's but.... like you said no one really used them. figured V-force are tried and proven soo.... I went with v-force. To bad no one has any dyno runs with them to compare them to v-force.
