  1. Vito's forged SuperStock and Power pistons are made by wiseco.
  2. Here is a few builders in random order. I'm sure theres some builders I'm forgeting... Dan Hull @ A&S racing Cam @ RedLine Racing Rudy Kurtz @ Portmagic Dan @ Patriot racing But might be hard to get a motor built these days Rob @ RDZ racing Jim @ passion Jeff @ F.A.S.T Dave Moore Racing K&T performance R&B racing Brad @ Tyson racing Charlie @ Ohton Racing Dennis @ Packard Racing I agree with Bansh-eman.. I think Charlie is a too busy puttin on the PS drags that it hurts his customer service. Just give them a call and see which one treats you the way you want to be treated.
  3. Can be a full system or a slip on. Needs to have a spark arrestor option. Let me know what you got and how much you want for it. Thanks
  4. I'm pretty sure the Pro-X pisonts are casted. Not unless they just started making forged pistons. I've had good luck with the casted Pro-X pistons on my dune motor. I've tried a few different pistons and the only one I've had bad luck with is the wiseco's.
  5. I see your point. It would be a good idea to have a shop that sells the pistons do the work. Magic racing also does boring I think. But Lakes Motorsports does good work. I've never heard anything bad about them.
  6. I'd get the pistons first and take the pistons with you when you get them bored so they give it the right cylinder/piston gap. If they get it too loose could loose a pistons skirt and if its too tight you'll be getting some cold siezing. Just my .02 We always used the pistons that were going in the motor to measure with when we bored cylinders at my old work.
  7. I'm not sure what the Cascade silencers did but my standard PT fat boy2's got 96db's with clamp on sparkies in Silver Lake.
  8. Well I'm definatley in the minority here but I prefer WSM pistons for my cub.
  9. Yep, I got it done! I was just lucky to have a cargo trailor to work in unitl I go the motor done. It was hard trying to take my time to make sure everything was right because I was so worked up to get into the dunes.. So I got it all together just to have a chain issue the next day that bent my Lonestar sprocket Hub and broke my chain wich ended my weekend.
  10. Which Marvin Shaw Shocks are you wanting to know about? I would call Tim or Becky @ Yarnell and talk to them. They are very helpfull and will answer any questions you have on their shocks.
  11. Could do what I did last year. Take it up in a box and put it together around the fire. (weather permiting) Naaa... J/K That really sucked!
  12. Yeah... I could live in that! And I thought my 5th wheel had alot of options.. WOW..
  13. Thanks, I didn't know he gave discounts to PS members. Your right.. every bit does help!
  14. I had a similar problem with mine. It ended up being the pickup coil gap was set wrong. With weak spark the bike will tend to favor one side over the other for some reason. Maybe the new coil bandaided the problem for a bit.
  15. I would probably use a 21x12x8 9 paddle.
  16. I tried cascade but they want a but load of $$$. Shipping is what really killed me on their price. So far Jim's sand toys had what I needed instock and seemed to be the best price also. I'm still lookin though. My wife is gonna kill me when she finds out I bought a $400+ set of paddles for myself for fathers day!
  17. I think Toomey's have a very nice finish. They're alot better then FMF, Pro Circuit, and Shearers Production chrome.
  18. They dont carry superlights and nothing over 10 paddles. Thanks though
  19. Just like the title says. I'm in the market for some paddles and I'm trying to find the cheapest place. I'm looking for 13 paddle extreme superlights or 14 paddle hauler superlights 22x11x8 Thanks
  20. So the dates is set for the 5th, 6th and 7th? Ok, I'm putting in for my time off!
  21. found a thread on PS about one of his bikes he's been workin on and a link to a vid of the dyno run. http://www.planetsand.com/forums/ubbthread...ge/3#Post212994 Dyno run
  22. If it does happen.. Just imagine how much it would cost to change the cams on that thing!! 4 camshafts = alot of money!!
  23. yeah them Motion Pro holders arnt the greatest for sure.. One of the perks of working for a dealer is you get the nice specialty tools.
  24. The holder is a factory yamaha tool.
