I might be wrong, but Rob doesn't make those products. He has someone make them for him. Where the cylinder porting is "his" work. I've heard good and bad things about Rob too. But they're ALOT of people around here (MI) that arn't happy with Rob's work or customer service and wouldn't buy a shoe string from him. I've never Dealt with Rob so I dont have a personal opinion on Him or his work, I was just stating what I hear about him localy.

Dan I suggest you get a case saver. If that chain comes off again its gonna do some damage if you dont have a saver. I'm not 100% sure yet but I might beable to make it.. as long as that benifit dinner is next saturday and not this saturday. I'll find out for sure tonight when I go into work.

Thats what they were running @ WMSD this weekend. I got 3 guys going to this race and I might even have Brad (Banshee322) making the trip from PA. Lets see if we can get this thing HUGE for the last race of the season. I'm in for the TNT Friday. I might even bring my hauler up and crash at the track friday night, not sure on that though.

I dont think I can make it.. I might have a benifit goin on at my bowling center, I'll have to check the schedule. But I think I can do somthing next weekend. Dave your gonna have to see the pics JT got of Dans "Brake Kit"

I use a yz style kill. You can get them from RMATV for 10 bucks. I dont have the grips on yet but you can see the red button on the left bar. I dont seem to have a better pic other then this one. And you can see the blue block off on the rear caliper.

I've never had a problem with 50/50 mix over heating in the dunes. Since I've never had a problem with overheating.. I dont think I would spend the 20.00 for ice.. The only reason I use Ice is for cosmetic apperance.

You might want to talk to bansheeDan after this weekend. He just made the switch from T5's to CPI's He'll have some seat time with them and maybe a few time slips. To compare them agains the T5's I know he said he took it down the street really quick and it was a "whole new beast"

When I was running gas i used alot of different oils. I really like the castor 927. The only thing I didn't like about it was the color. It wouldn't change the color of the gas and sometimes I would forget if I already mixed it in or not. I also used KLOTZ R50, Technipalte and Benol. I have no problems with any of those oils either. Bel-Ray HIR is a good clean oil. I didn't mind Yamalube2R, I ran it for 2yrs in my banshee @ 32:1. when I bought it brand new. I pulled the cylners off to get them ported and they looked REALLY good. But it smoked like a bitch and did foul some plugs. For a $1 more a quart I figured a full synthetic would be better.

I was.. but its not fun tryin to get this big azz hauler parked in the middle of the night. And I forgot I got to take my kids to daycare on friday. So the soonest I'll be pulling out of here is about 8-9ish. That'll put us in SL about 12ish.. and we'll have some time to chill out and get set-up before we have to go and wait in the voucher line for a few hours. Does anyone have extra room for a quad to get in dunes? or any Idea's to get one more out? My brother-inlaw wants to go.. but I got no way to get his quad out to the dunes. I already got mine and dans on my truck and I dont like tow anymore cuz I got busted by the po-po last time out.

Do they got a website? Whats the dirt like? Me and some of the MI guys are looking for some other tracks to run at thats no too far. Is their any sand track out that way?

Well its a 300ft dirt track.. not sure what kinda of dirt it is.. might be loose. Not sure when, I'll have to get some more info. Its on the Eastern side of OH close to the PA border. I read about it on another post. I also found 3 sand tracks in indiana but I'm having problems finding schedules for them

Dan... I got a set of 3" sparky's measure you OD on your CPI's.. If they're 2.5" maybe JD can make you a set of doughnuts out of .5" or .75" aluminum with 3" OD and 2.5" ID.. we could get my 3" sparkies to work for almost nothing

Well.. I mapped it out and its about a 6hr drive for me.. so it'd be about 3 from detroit area.. I dunno.. maybe I'm just gettin antsie from not racing in awhile.. When's the next race at Bob's? 29th? I think albright is having a race on the 29th also.. we need more tracks!! I cant wait that long!!! I'm going through withdrawls!!!.. Hopefully I can get my fix in silver lake...

Well.. That was the best day of racing I ever had!! Sure am glad I made the trip :biggrin: I guess They're having some races in ohio.. That might be worth looking into.. It cant be too much farther then bobs and it'd be nice to see a different track. If someone has a 4 place trailor or somthing like that, we could take 6 bikes meet up in the detroit area and split the cost from there.

Hopefully Dan doesn't read this but.. I was going to get a pink fanny pack and put like a mock up parachute in it it. Then write on the outside "John Force ATV brake Kit" or somthing along those lines. and give it to him at the race tomorrow.
