  1. 50.2!!!! Thats unheard of!! I can't even begin to imagine all the time and tuning involved to get that. He should get builder of the year award. I can see his exceptance speech now.. "first off.. I would like to thank my Mom and Dad... with out their funding non of this would have been possible. Also.. I'd like to thank God.. for giving me the gift of tuning.. With out him.. there was no way my banshee could have seen 50.2 HP. And Lastly.. I'd like to give a thanks to my sponsor.. Earl's speed shop, who supplied me with the custom tie dyed Powerbands and the tripple show polished boost bottle with intergrated air distriubtion tube. Thanks everyone GOOD NIGHT!!!"
  2. My banshee does what it was built to do.. and my 450 does what it was built to do.. I dont even think it would be possible to compare them. In a drag its not even fair for my 450.. in the trails it isn't fair for the my banshee.. So I guess pick your flavor/
  3. I managed to find it. Heres the thread http://www.planetsand.com/forums/ubbthread...true#Post154872
  4. Oh no... Did we infect another one with the Drag virus??
  5. I might be selling my 450 soon and I thought I would check to see if anyone may be interested Its a 04' with lots of goodies. This is the best pic I got at the moment. I got a bunch of little odds and ends on it also. BansheeDan can vouch for it... Its very clean and well taken care of. $4,000.00 Located in Mid Michigan
  6. I thought Jaws only built custom pipes? Maybe I'm thinking of a different Jaws performance.
  7. Yeah.. no shit Dave.. its not like your gonna be out any coin! if things dont work out with the lectrons I'm interested in that cabel as long as they'll pull 44's!
  8. Yeah its a law to have USFS (United States Forestry Service) approved screen.. The law doesn't state that the housing of the screen has to be approved. and alba's screens are approved. They (DNR) dont make you have the stickers. Atleast not here. We talked to the Head DNR officer for about 2 hours on this. The screens we're using are 4 months old and still going with the season over.. so they lasted a year for us. You can hate on Alba all you want, thats your choice. I dont buy anything from them either. But.. that 15.00 kit saves you alot of money over the big ass clamp on sparkies that can fall off (as his did) and get lost. If someone else made them, I'd buy from them. But as far as I know no one else does.
  9. Can't make this one.. I might beable to do a track rental like a 11-3 or somthing like that.. I have to work at 6 and the 3 hour drive back makes it tuff.
  10. I agree with Wes and Dave. I think alot has to do with how and where you ride. I had 35's on my duner motor and loved it!! I did loose a lil bottom end but.. I dont need alot of bottom for duning. I use more mid/top power wich the 35's were better suited for that application. You got'em.. .RUN'EM!! I think you'll be happy with them.
  11. Stickers arn't needed over here, and for 15.00 to do both silencers, even if you have to buy new screen every year it still saves over 150.00 for a set of sparkies.
  12. Yeah I know how the lectrons work. I was just stating that their like any other carb. Once you know where you bike is having problems, you adjust it. Wether its turning the needle or buying a new needle. You adjust the carb ocordingly.
  13. It WILL work. But the screen used must be USFS approved screen. Alba makes a kit you can buy and the screen is approved. I even asked the DNR officer about it and showed it to him. He said it was good. They can tell by looking at the screen if it USFS approved or not. My cousin tried to use some cheap screen he picked up at the hardwarde shop and they caught it. Jody is the head officer at Silver Lake and he was the one who approved the screen.
  14. Isnt't that the same as any other carb?? you have to know where your rich or lean and pick the jet/needle that corresponds??
  15. its not a banshee but I got a set on my 450. Pic is in my sig..
  16. Yeah it was the durablue that was bending. The install problem with the G-force had somthing to do with the wrenches and the lock nuts. But.. Just what I heard.. I use a durablue on my 450 and havn't had a problem with it yet (4yrs old) Knock on wood!!..
  17. I'd sell your 2 into 1 and buy a another 35mm carb.
  18. as far as installation or bending? I think the durablue was bending and I've heard some of some install problems with the G-force
  19. I do.. I was hopin for a 0-16 season but they arleady managed to F that up..
  20. Woulda been nice to have some punctuation in there.. My eyes started hurting about 1/4 way through the post.
