  1. Yeah I think they have those on a MX tracks.
  2. I think they're called outlaw 450's now instead of predator's. I just heard about them last week when I was on polaris's site lookin for some info. I think it looks pretty slick.
  3. I'm looking for a bottom end for a 250x. I'll take a complete motor also. Let me know.
  4. Cascade sells a silencer for them. I've seen some people around here using FMF Turbine core's on them to get into the dunes (spark arrestors).
  5. I've used the pyramid valve. Its ok for a almost stock motor. But after you get into drag porting and 4mils they seem to lack the flow to keep up and start to make less power compared to some other cages. The most important thing to look for on a cage is Tip area. If you look at the pyramids the main petals are more narrow then a stock cage and the side petals are triangle so they dont have much of a tip. Go with the tried and true V-Force. I'll see if I can't scrape up that old dyno chart again. found it
  6. I wouldn't worry any about that dent. Its there right from the factory and all 3 of my PT sets had it. I got my first set from Duncan and Noticed that dent and I was pissed! I figured it happend during shipping or somthing. So I called them up and thats when they told me its meant to be there.
  7. All and all sounds like you had a nice outing. I'd weld it back for the 21st then send them back to Matt for warranty.
  8. You guys are some brave souls... Its 35 here!! BERRRRRRRRRR!!!!
  9. Stand up guy and great to deal with.
  10. Its not looking good for me gettin down to bobs on the 21st. First problem is the Temp.. if its like this for the 21st I'm just gonna stay home. I dont wanna risk leaning it out since I may be sellling it this year.. 2nd problems is I just dont have the money to pay for fuel. It cost me about 80.00 to get there and back. Dan if I manage to go you can hitch a ride with me and split the fuel bill!!
  11. You probably wont notice the gain with a stock motor. The 3's start to make a bigger difference when you get into the higher HP motors that call for more fuel/air. So unless you got a stroker or drag ported bike I think the Boyesen's will do the trick. Spend the extra cash on some other go fast goodies. Just my .02 cents
  12. could always drill the mains a touch bigger also
  13. whats that on index? I dont have my chart handy. I think mine are #40 right now
  14. Mine are drilled, I dont remember him saying anything about his being drilled? Maybe his are. If so drill'em bigger!
  15. Dan Hull Recommends the 34 PJ's on his stock cylinder/stock stroke Drag bikes. I got a set of 38 PJ's and I didn't think they were any harder to tune then my 35 PWK's.. Maybe I was close to start with  who knows..
  16. Its not about the crowds for me, I could care less if there was 10,000 people or 10 people. Its about spending the day at the track with all your friends and fellow racers. And when the tree stops the beer starts! Thats almost better then racing IMO.
  17. Actually it is legal to ride in the 5th wheel just not travel trailors
  18. It wasn't a cub but my stock cylinders had BB sleeves and I could bore them to 70mm
  19. LOL if we fit 4 bikes in the garage we might not have room for a grill! But it does sound like a hell of a good time!! well the mornings might be a lil ruff but.... Yeah after the fuel cost all thats left is food and we can pretty much pack food in the hauler to save $$ . Well and probably some camping fees but that should be minimal. I'm tryin to make plans but like I said.. it wont be until Jan or so.. Then I'll have a idea of whats going on.
  20. I couldn't resist Dave.. It just looked like they were havin so much fun I wanted in on the action! Just doing some keyboard racing since its gonna be about another 2 weeks before we can hit a track. And even then I'm not sure If I'm gonna go, alot depends on the forcast Friday night. I'm not going to spend 6hrs in the truck again just to have it rained off again.
  21. Probably around Jan or so I'll know whats goin down. If we do go. I'm pretty sure we can squeeze 4bikes in my hauler if we take the tires off them and find a good arrangment. and if I figured right @ 3.00 a gal for fuel it would be about 150.00 ea. for fuel there and back. 2400 miles / 13mpg = 184 gallons of fuel * 3.00 gal = $552 for the round trip taking the hauler. I usually get about 17-18mpg with out the hauler. I can fit 6 guys pretty cozy in my truck 7 is a bit tight but can be done.
  22. If were talking shit can I join? I wont be needing any wood screws, I'm pretty sure my lil 4mil will give ya some trouble. Me and a few MI boys are trying to plan a spring trip out there. Its just not in the cards for us this fall.
  23. I'd like to go in the spring but I think we should wait on our winter projects first to see how they turn out before we start makin plans.
