  1. What is your elevation? if your running the 22cc domes at higher elevation you could be running less then stock compression and may want to bump it up some.
  2. Pistons are like Ice Cream.. Everyone has their favorite Flavor and they all melt down.
  3. I use the kenda Dune trackers on my 450.. They're heavier the the skat-traks but I'm not racing and the added durability eases my mind and my wallet lol
  4. Ran them all year in my 4mil.. No problems here.
  5. Might wanna check ebay.. I think I just saw a set yesterday on there.. Starting bid was 100.00 and length was about 12.5" http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BANSHEE-MAR...1QQcmdZViewItem
  6. Tires are 22's they give me a lil extra ground clearance for the dunes.. I run 18's for the track.
  7. 12.5 front and 12.25 rear with link
  8. CPI's always had a stamped look to me and I could see the cones so I figured power pro but... I could be wrong heres a pic of some unsilenced power pro's heres a pic of CPI
  9. Your compression at sea lvl should be around 160-165. If it were me.. I'd probably run 50/50 blend of race fuel and 93 to be on the safe side. Better safe then sorry..
  10. and shafts are $45 for the front and $65 for the rear. I just got a quote from them last month.
  11. Higher octane fuel will not increase HP.. By using high octane fuels it allows you to furtrher advance your timing and run higher compression thus giving you more HP.. But by itself it will not increase HP.. When my motor was stock I ran premium... its only what... $1 more for 5 gallons?? better safe then sorry.
  12. I guess turnaround time depends on the season.. It took 2months turn around on mine. They were backed up. Tim said it was dead for about 3 months and then they got hammerd. But they are some of the nicest people over there. I placed my order through quadwerks and then called them directly to ask some questions and change my order.. Great people for sure!
  13. Yeah there alot better for drag then trinity inframes.. Trinity's inframes are very close to T-5's
  14. 19cc domes at sea lvl should be around 180psi on a stock ported motor... It would probably most likely require race fuel.. My duner motor used 19cc domes and I used 110 Cam2. If it were me and the highest octane I could find was 98.. I'd get 20cc domes.
  15. PT Hi-revs would be my choice but I like the 916's and T-5's also
  16. Send a PM to theshee I think he has a set he is selling really cheap!
  17. Its alot cheaper to order through one of their dealers then ordering direct from Marvin Shaw... They told me they dont like to undercut there dealers. I got my set from www.quadwerks.com I may have a set for sale that is near new.. I just got them in april. My fronts are 12.5" and rear is 12.25" with out taking anything off the shock. So they can go shorter if needed. I'll know for sure in about a week or 2 if I'll be selling them.
  18. lol yeah... they wont be there next year if all goes right.. I was gonna peel them this year but I ran outa cash to get mine painted..
  19. Wes I'm interested in that shaw!!!!
  20. I agree.. It all depends on what type of riding you do. The Toomey, Pro Circuit and DMC are all around pipes.. while the PT mid is a bottom end pipe. I've never used the FMF SST's so I can't comment on them. Also a builder's motor can favor one pipe over the other.. So there really isn't one pipe better then the other its just a matter of where you want the power and the fit/finish/looks of the pipe. I prefer PT pipes myself.. For tight woods and MX (bottom end power) I like the PT mids, and for open trails, TT racing and Dune riding I like the PT Hi-Rev pipes.. And I think the chrome is the best out there next to buying pipes bare and having them chromed yourself. I like the 916 for a all-around pipe. I think its unique in looks and the way it sounds. Thats why I like it over the Toomey's
  21. I know bad u-joints on the drive shaft can make it shake. Had that happen on my old S-10
  22. they told me something about the heat chaging the molecular structure of the nikasil and that it causes ripples or waves in the bore. They told me to check it with a bore dialer. I dunno I guess thats why they get paid to do it and I dont... All I know is I didn't have any problems with mine so I'll be coating my next set too.. Cascade was the one who first told me of the problem and they said they do cold coating or somthing like that.
