  1. You mean a thread file? Thread file would work if the threads wern't messed up too bad like you said.
  2. The only place I found that had one big enough was Snap-on. Ran into this problem last year on my cousins cub when he forgot to bend the tab on the lock washer.
  3. It would depend on where/what he rides. If its alot of open trails and dunes the CPI would be a great pipe. He didn't say what type of riding he did but the pipes he mentioned are all-around pipes wich leads most people to think He trail rides more then not and would need more bottom/mid power then what a drag pipe offers. I'm not a fan of T-5's. Not because there bad pipes but.. I like to be different. I'd take a set of DMC 916's or PT Hi-revs over the toomey's The Trinity pipe is very nice. has a great fit and finish to it. It has almost identical power delivery as the T5's
  4. I used to run the pro-flow plate.. If your not running through water or mud I would switch the the clamp on's. Much easier to work with when you need jetting changes. If your going to keep the box, I would put some grease or RTV on that o-ring to help the seal.
  5. I used a +2 for my duner bike and loved it. It wasn't too long that I couldn't trail ride it either.
  6. Yeah.. I dont have a VIN on my frame.. So its kinda hard for me to get a title. I got the receipt from the dealer does that count?? ::
  7. I dont go to the store to rent porn.. I've already seen everything they got.. Its mail order now!
  8. perhaps maybe a coil? just another idea.. just about every other option was already mentioned. When it comes to electrial it can favor one cylinder over the other.
  9. I mostly do competition mud bogs.. then when I'm not doing that.. I do sled pulls. j/k.. drag use only here.
  10. I thought they used o-rings aswell. I know you can send it back to Pingle and they rebuild them for 12.00. So I'm sure they could send you the parts to do it yourself.
  11. I'm not the quickest on the classic cars.. Is that a tempest?
  12. When I was racing a grizzly it seemed like I was staring at that grizzlies ass all day before my tree droped!
  13. My buddy has one.. Its just been in his garage for the last 3 yrs. I beleive its the air cooled version though.. not sure on the year.
  14. Sorry I had a typo here.. I meant... I'm still not convinced about the 4.11 at ablright..
  15. Trust me!!! It wont be there next year!
  16. Yeah I know of a few 10 mils making 140's. I was just talking about the 4mils. Yeah.. My best "legit" passes 4.19 at bob's and a 4.14 at albright. I'm still convinced about the 4.11 I usually run around 4.25-4.30. All my fastest passes are on a fresh groom. I couldn't seem to get traction if it wasn't fresh. I had a 1.51 60' and the front didn't lift a bit. So Thats what leads me to think I could use a touch more tire. I think I can still get some better times yet with a lil more TNT. This year I didn't change anything but timing. I was just getting seat time. Yeah.. Dan was always a lil hesitant to get into the throttle with my bike.. He really didn't care for the twist throttle and was always worried about it coming up on him. Believe it or not.. Dan actually helped me out with my RT's.. After I tried it.. I started pulling .5's and 6's instead of my usual .8's and .9's lol
  17. Jim always helped me out when I was in a bind and needed some parts QUICK!.. Thanks Jim!
  18. The few 4mil DM's I heard of was making about 125ish for HP. But I think I heard K&T's was making some better numbers. Dont remember exactly what they were.
  19. I'm not 100% sure but I think Trinity's heads go bigger then 68mm.
  20. Well, Just for arguments sake... It was twister cylinders that went 3.18 @ Gilbert.
  21. Well.. Actually it wasn't my statement.. I cut and pasted it from a post by Calvin Pollet. So I'll let you put it into reality for him. I personally never liked pencils much..
