I'm gonna throw a 3rd vote in on the RK MXZ chain. Been using it for years on all my bikes. Not one issue. I usually get mine from motogear911 or something like that off of ebay. Just searched and seller isn't active I guess. I'd go through tedder's guy.

good way to check twist is to pinch the top and bottom chain together about half way back.. you should see the engine twist. I would get a chariot stator cover without the bearing support (no bearing and special nut) and use Tyler's style support.. Save you some money over the packard.

^ Thats what I was getting at just a lil bit more straight forward. on a side note.. A 525 chain is only 1.7mm wider then a 520.. but a 530 chain is nearly 3mm wider then a 520.. You "should" be able to use a 525 chain with 520 sprockets... they would just ride a tad lower on the sprocket.. I wouldn't trust a 530 chain on 520 sprockets.. thats just too wide. Typically a 525 chain will be about 1500#'s more tensile str. Just my take on that. But as Tyler mention.. I dont see a need for a 530 chain. There has to me some other issue. I've only broke one chain and I was 100% at fault.

whats the pro's and cons of a 520 vs a 530? I remember a dyno a long time ago on 520 vs 530. Reason I ask.. for your motor.. wouldn't the con's out weigh the pro's?

I purge with Reg. 89 oct. pump gas.. 118 isn't needed.
