make sure its not the motor thats locked up , put in a high gear lik 3rd or 4th and push it a little to make sure , but its probably the kicker gear assembly or something stuck in the idle gear , pull the clutch cover and check it out .

i have a new motor , slight porting , nothing crazy , v-force ,+4 timing , toomey t-5 , got pwk oko's , 30mm and trying to get them dialed in , they were shipped to me with 155 main 55 pilot, needle in the middle ,it was cold , 25-30 degrees out , it ran great , got alittle warmer out and i got a bog just after idle , higher rpm's it was fine , i dropped the main to 152 and 52 pilot . when the motor was cold it ran mint, no bog and pulled hard , after a couple minutes when the motor got up to full temp it started to bog and hesitate , higher rpm's were fine . called the place i got them from ,CPW and he said go up 1 notch on the needle (leaner ) that made it worst , so i went 1 notch towards the pointy end and it got a little better , went to the last notch closest to the pointy end ( richest ) and it was better but still had a hesitation , CPW told me to try the the bigger jets , so i did that and tried all the clips spots and it was bogging and poping bad . so i called them back and they said they would send me a different needle and to try that . does a needle mean that much ? have you ever had the wrong needle mess jetting up that bad ? he said they have sold hundreds of sets of these carbs and never heard a problem like this .

i heard a lot of horror stories about cannondales , i heard they are not reliable at all , i know that cannondale tried to race their bike in the outdoor motorcross series and could not get 1 bike to finish a race , DNF ( did not finish ) , they had a bunch of problems , heard the quads were the same , i saw one though and it looked pretty trick , fuel injection , oil was in the frame , and i remember right i think the fuel injection was in the front of the motor and the exhaust came out of the back , i think another company bought them ( ATK i think but im not sure )

every time i send a money order to some one i always think about how easy it would be to get screwed , i usually only send money orders to people on this site that i see have alot of posts and seem to be square guys but you still never know . i hope you get your shocks but after 3 weeks and nothing , and he doesnt return PMs , it doesnt look good i think you got screwed. i would call the cops where he lives and report it , thats stealing and mail fruad .

i have the t-style and i like it , i dont know about function but the t-style looks better i think , the dubble banjo style look kind of rigged , just my 2 cents

like banshee-man said spray the hell out of it with pb or liquid wrench and let it soak , sounds like it seized in the carrier from rust and lack of grease , be careful you dont bend the axle hitting it with the sledge ,

my banshee in my sig is alot different now , old pic . now has ohlins front shocks , +2+1 arms , pep rear shock , i tried pt mids, didnt like them . any way you look at it you are handicapping your self racing MX on a banshee , if they were so good on a track more people would race them . dont get me wrong i love my banshee but i know what it was built for , passing 450's in a straight line

if you race mx and you want to be competitive you have to be on a 450 , thats the bottom line . i dont care how much aftermarket parts you put on your banshee its not as good as the newer 450's on the track , i have banshee with extended axle and +2+1 and ohlin fronts , and my brothers trx 450 and yfz 450 walk away from it on the track , im not even going to get into the torq and traction a new 4 stroke gets , something the banshee lacks in both departments , you all can say its 90% rider and 10% bike and thats true to an extent but what happens when you are racing people that are on the same skill level that you are on , then alot has to do with the bike . i can pass people that are at a lower skill level than me but that doesnt mean any thing , take 2 guys that are at the same level put 1 on a new 450 and another on a banshee with the works and my money is on the 450. i am not talking out of my ass , i have been racing MX for at least 15 years , i take my banshee to the track for fun but when you take a 450 around the track you feel the difference right away. i raced a cr 250 for the last couple of years and on my first day on a crf 450 my lap times were alot faster the first couple laps , guys i rode with that were even with me before i would pull away from on the new 450. and the 250 2 stroke and the 450 have the same geometry , bottom line is ride one and you decide , but the banshee is not built for the track , 450's are . and if you are putting down fast lap times on a banshee i guarantee you would be even faster on a new 450. just my 2 cents

i sell some parts from time to time and only had 1 problem with a seller , i sold brake caliper last week and had like 7 pics up close of it from every angle , stated it was used , didnt try to hide anything , what you see is what you get , buyer gets it and says he wants his money back , i say you saw it perfectly in pics , i dont except returns , its fucking ebay , he puts a claim in with paypal and they take the money out of my account, he says i mislead him , , hes full of shit , it works fine , came off my bike , (was missing rubber gromets ) which you can clearly see in the pics , i dont know whats going to happen now but i guess paypal desides it . he also threated me with neg feedback , his feedback is 2 mine is 120 , i said negitive feedback works both ways and you would be stupid to give me negitive , it would hurt you alot more then me . just sic and tired of stupid buyers , look at what your buying and if you expect new , buy new from yamaha . people bidding on my item and then asking me to retract their bid, just stupid shit , people bidding on my item and winning then asking me to ship to china when it says US only in the auction. people winning and not paying and if you give them negitive feedback they can respond with negitive feedback even though they fucked you . ebay should stand behind the seller a little bit , they are the ones paying all the rising fee's just venting a bit .

put the bearings in your freezer the night before you install them , the cold will shrink them down a bit , makes installing them a bit easier.

my brother has a 06 trx 450 and is looking to get +2 a arms , took make a long story short , a friend has the same bike and he bought lonestar arms , when the suspension compresses the frame snaps the zirc fitting (grease fitting ) off , my brother wants these arms but doesnt want that problem , he called lonestar and they couldnt tell him if they fixed this problem , any body else hear about this ? how are asr a arms , any good ? i dont like how the bolt to the frame are those joints strong ? any other brands you guys think he should go with ?

i have a set of pure sport realitors and they are awsome , i have used the bandits before and they hook up in the dirt very good.
