motor is totally rebuilt , new top end , bottom end got new seals and checked out , started it up and it makes noise out of bottom end , brought it to the mechanic and he said it is not crank maybe clutch. went home took it a part and the gear on the clutch hub is loose , not sloppy loose but if i grab the hub with one hand and the gear with the other and twist it will move back and forth a 1/4 of a inch, any body have this problem and do you think this will make noise in the bottom end, please help want to finally ride this pos

the best way to get them off is to hit the side of the knuckle with a hammer , it will vibrate loose from the shock of the hit. you dont need any special tools. make sure you dont hit the ball joint,

just rebuilt my top end ( hole in piston ) everything is new , even sent my botom end to a qualified shop and had all seals replaced , put it all back together and started it today, it is making noise out of the bottom end , maybe tranny . not to loud but loud enough for it not to sound normal. im scared something will blow. plz help, any ideas
