  1. that happened to me once with a kx 250 when i let it sit with fuel left on, i think fuel just keep dumping into the motor and fills it up with fuel , same thing when i started it shot a stream of fuel 15-20 ft, (all over my brothers lawn and killed a huge patch ) i cleaned the carb installed new reeds and took the pipe off and cleaned all the fuel out and it never happened again , but i never left the fuel on to see allways turned it off so it wouldnt happen again. my brother still bitches grass doesnt grow good in that spot , it was like three years ago , ha ha ha
  2. they will fit stock boots , they are 28mm bored out to 30mm ,
  3. my mods are trail port , + 4 timing , k+n no lid , v force 3 , fmf fattys , and i cant say enough about these carbs , i have bottom end power that i never had with stock carbs and more power through the hole rpm , besides i could never get my stock carbs dialed in and always ran a little shitty , now it runs perfect , i am really happy with these carbs.

  6. i have been running caster for years and never had a problem even in sub freezing temps. just to let you know once oil and gas is mixed it does not separate or settle to the bottom .
  7. i go to suffolk meadows off exit 68 , huge riding area and big sand pit , and i go to east coast mines huge sand pit with 75 foot sand walls , its out east , both good spots.i have places to park near both in case the cops come, we do some night riding too .its a little safer at night, usually 6- 10 of us go out riding . alot of fun we should hook up the more people we have the funner it is
  8. good luck , post some pics when you get it home , maybe some before and after pics
  9. no problem with cops over there ? i heard people getting their bikes impounded ? is there a sand pit ?
  10. i just got those carbs and they are awsome , one of the best mods i did so far , way better than stock carbs . they come set up for your mods and the guy i called really good to deal with , throttle resonse and bottom end power i never had . call them up and talk to them. there is also a open topic about them , do a search
  11. yes it costs you if its fake ,i always ask my bank to check it out before i deposit it , you should only ship to confirmed address's , or only sell if they are paypal verified or else they could screw you over even if you have a tracking number , proving you shipped it
  12. thats why i only take pay pal , if i do get a bank check i wait until it clears before i ship it out. i got a bank check for something i sold on ebay and when i got it it looked fake as hell , i did the same thing checked it all out and it ended up being real, was from some bank in bumble fuck .did not look real at all.
  13. looking for a clean on/off headlight switch , not all faded must be clean , round plug old style( 87 - 95 i think) and a right side spindle , not bent ,
  14. you ever ride the east coast mines , the sand pit is insane ,yes we still ride locally , you have to be careful weekends is when they get you , we go during the week and do alot of night riding , i just bought my house in miller place . we should hook up and ride sometimes , 8-10 of us are riding all the time.
  15. i live in miller place , maybe 10-15 minutes from you
  16. i see frames all the time for 300 bucks with papers and cheaper with out , if i was going to buy without papers i would run the numbers first to make sure its not hot, the extra money you spend on a newer frame is going to increase the worth of your banshee , say you had a 87 , now you get a 98 frame , thats a big difference in price
  17. you could just get a ( ratio right ) mixing cup , has all the mix ratios on the side along with how many gallons of fuel . i use it all the time
  18. im from long island also , what the name of the shop ? where are you from ?
  19. you are better off just buying a arm frame and switching your stuff over , thats what i did. you can find a arm frames for a couple hundred , just my 2 cents
  20. do a compression test , thats the only way you can tell true compression , some signs of low compression are it is hard to start when its cold . does it start on first couple kicks or do you have to kick the hell out of it to get it going ?
  21. check to make sure you put carb slides back in correctly , maybe one is backwards , try switching coil wires on the plugs , see if it changes sides did it run ok before you rejetted it ?
