  1. welp i just got my engine parts back from andy and im looking for someone to mod my tranny. im kinda on a budget i spent to much on the cubs having them ported so i was looking for a memeber who does tranny work at a decent price. i also seem that wheelman chassis does tranny work on the cheap does anyone have any experience with them. i do have a drag ported 421 but it is not a strict drag bike i will be making some trips to silver lake and busco next year. will be doing alot of dragging once im there but i will ride it around some to. any recommendations would be great or a pm if you dont want to advertise thanks

  4. I was only going to run the serval yo get my setup tuned in then get them ported. But andy was having trouble getting me cylinders and he had a set of drag ported cubs instock so i told him to just send me them instead hopefully will be hear soon.

  6. i plan on ditching it when i get the cash for a round house arm, carrier and a jj&a but i needed something to do some mocking up till then best you can do is around 1000-1200 for the setup and i dont have it right now. i built a jig to put the arm in to keep it straight and true so it should function good not throwing the chain and crap. but i am telling you it is a heavy pig it weighs more then my buddys arm carrier and axle seems like anyways.

  9. very great reading guys way farther past my understanding in the math department but i really like the concept of trying to get everything you can get out of pump gas. i would like to try this kinda thing with my 421 serval when i get it ported. would really be nice to get with in a few hp of a regular bolt together race fuel engine. and save 7 bucks a gallon on gas
  10. Ill be in a stretched frame with marvin Shaw's on the front itll be +24 in the front and plus 10 in the back. I guess i will have to look into another tire
  11. what kinda classes do they have there ive never been and this is my first banshee build im building it mostly for et classes and breakout classes. im a big guy 350 plus so its about impossible to be competitive in a heads up class
  12. They will be used for nothing but drag and maybe cruz around busco beach we have no dunes hear in the mountains
  13. I kinda thought the staggered would just be a little more than the strate 9 paddle but paddles are something i dont know much about

  15. Whats your all opinion on them i was thinking of running them 18 paddle staggered on my 421 serval i hope they will be to much tire for it now so when i have it ported it will be ok anyone got some pics of these tires or a vid of them in action

  22. i want lectrons for the simple reason they are simple. and i want them because all you have to do is change a needle and go from alky to gas back to alky. you can buy the alky carbs with duel pjs and a extra gas needle and your good to go. ive tuned them on 4 strokes and as soon as you get them to idle with the slide as close to being closed as you can get it thats basically it. open the pj out way farther then you know it will need to be and run it. backing it down about a .25 of a turn till it comes in. they are no spilling gas on anything no jets to pack around in your pocket all you need is a small screwdriver and if you must have it the little tool to turn the needle. but a good hand with a leather man is good as well. they are a reason that the fastest bike in the world run them as well i dont see pwks on them. ive seen on a ds650 witch was a 806 with 39mm fcrs boared to 41.5 pickup 2 peak hp and as much as 4 in places of the curve going to 44mm lectrons witch are only 42mm at the slide. thats same day on the dyno on gas no alky no other changes. so who has the best prices on them ive called packard, and lectron them self but i know they can be got a better deal goin from either of them im lookin right at 900 for carbs and extra needles cables and filters. and ive seen them cheaper just cant remember were i usually write that stuff down but cant find it anywere.

Im a great fan of the ds650 but being a big guy trail ridding a banshee or 450 just dont work real good on a long ride i have had them all and the ds is like ridding you lazyboy in the woods it can soak up any terrain but if your not a very good size person you dont ride a ds it rides you. It takes some strenth to make a 420lb bike do what you want it to do. Thats the only downfall to the ds. If you find a baja plain orange and black not the baja x it is a bit lighter because it doesnt have the skids all around on it and it has a little longer swingarm so it dont rare up at all. The prediator is a nice choice i think as well just not my fav.
