  1. anyone want to make cash offers on the parts ive got a few pms about stuff so any offers will be took into consideration i forgot i also need a set of plastics black or orange only please i prefer stock but any but the raptor lookalike will be cool. must have rear fenders fronts can be cut no junk plz
  2. could the ones who voted on the cst ambush tires chime in on how they do as far as wear and hook up they are what im looking at getting since there one of the few i can get in 22's
  3. cpi oof small bore small flange one out each side pipes are in good to excellent condition just needs a cleaning. no dents spring clips are good and has a set of kinda crappy peg mounts if you dont want them i wont send them. also have a set of keihin carbs they are either 34 or 35mm pwks with powerjets installed they were ran on the same bike as the oof pipes on a 392 cub and ran great he ran gas in them never alky that i know of just not what im wanting for my build also a set of new never ran 64mm bore stk stroke pistons was installed but never ran he realized they wasnt for the 4mm crank that was in the engine just in enough time. i got them for doing the assembly for him. after he just about caused a big mess. lucky me right. rings are on them pin and one clip are in them and i have the other clip in box they are complete everything you need. and last i have a set of alum. hubs that are perfect condition good bearings and seals but that have had the rotor mounting holes machined off so you will have no front brakes with these good for drag racing or what ever you want. what i am in need of trading for is a complete electric system from stator, cdi wiring harness to key i need everything and headlights and handle bar switch must be in good condition not cut and hacked on also in need of a set of pipes inframe drag pipes like cpi sheeres rockets or r2s they dont have to be chrome i actually rather have black but not dented and banged up with spring clips in good condition. must be sb for a 421 serval also need a extended swing arm like to have a +6 but maybe a +4. billet basket thumb throttle housing none stock something shiny also will take cash in trade. may start selling straight out after a week or so if not got what i need in on trade i will try and answer any question you got just let me know and can take more pics if needed just i cant reply till after 7 everyday due to when i get home from work got to love 12hr shifts

  7. i did the same with the 350 in my 72 chevy it still looked good when i sold it after many carb swaps and fuel spills i know its not powdercoat but i like to do my own thing and it should look good for a while no more then i will get to ride. one thing i really like about it is how forgiving it is. you cant hardly make it run i put 5 heavy coats of paint and 5 heavy coats of clear.
  8. i would have but someone had bought them self one of those at home cheepo powder coat kits and after cleaning that off it looked like crap so i decided to try something different. and engine enamal is gas and oil resistant. i know it will still harm it if left on there but its better then regular spray paint. ive had good luck out of painting car engines with it and not haveing problems with it. hears a link to the kinda paint it is. http://www.duplicolor.com/products/enginePaint/
  9. im goin to do something a little different on the pipes then most i plan on painting a section on the side of the pipes orange then putting a sticker that says 421 Banshee or just BansheeHQ then spraying the black over it all ans then pulling the sticker off ans shoting the high temp clear over that it will be something ive not seen before
  10. i plan on goin center cases, head, top a-arm, hubs, steering stem, and axle carrier orange. then jugs, outer cases, lower a-arm (easier to touch up), frame, swing arm and pipes black. im still undecided on plastic i really want the stock 08 orange plastic but having trouble finding it at a good price. i may just go black plastic or i may try and paint my other set witch is already painted i cant hurt it any.

  12. the set of cases i have must have got some water to them or something and the bearin in the top case that the clutch acuator arm runs threw has some pretty good rust on it and looks to have a few bearings gone ive looked at it and you really cant knock it out from the bottom what is the best way to get this thing out.

  15. never really thought about the wrap on them. i use to run wrap on my ole kfx for the same reason but i never thought of it on the shee. it should help power as well wouldnt it. and if done with black wrap it wouldnt look to bad from a distance anyway lol
  16. yes a very serious question because if its not comfortable all the hp in the world dont matter. and i wear jeans cant find ridding pants in 44-34. and out of frames are not really trail friendly. for my kind of trails anyway. and bansheeboi the r2s were really what i was thinking they look farther forward in the pics i have seen. the cpi look the worst.
  17. im building a 421 serval and i have read all the dyno pages and that has nothing to do with my question at all im not worried about what pipe you fell makes the best power except one of them. and that is the paul turner highs would they make a good pipe for these cylinders. now for the other question which pipe is coolest on the legs cpi inframe shear pcs or r-2s. im tall 6'4 and use to burn my legs alot with t5s so im hoping to find a pipe that is a little easier on the blisters. thanks alot guys for the help.

  19. yea that is what i was thinking get another banshee to fix up for the twins by the time they are old enough to ride them the banshee will be almost non existent. and the 4 strokes im sure will rule everything so it be nice to have something like that to give them as first big bikes. i really think i will like the serval much better i already have the carbs to feed them great. ill have a few parts forsale or trade hear in a few days that are mainly drag parts i had started hording up that can go now.
  20. well last i was on and posted i had just ordered a 421cub from andy. i got hrs cut at work and a bunch of other crap that really put a cramp in my banshee fund. i had still not got the engine dilivered because i was looking for a set of cases welp i got a set cheap local and called andy up we got to talking and i we decided that the cub probably wasnt the cat for me since me and my wife just found out that we are having twins and getting away for a 2-3 day weekend would be pretty hard to do for a while.so i went to a 421 serval with stock tranny so i could ride it more in the woods at home and still have great power and now i am even more excited then i was before

Well I do this because maybe someone out there has dynoed there bike with my setup with say shearers sm and bb and maybe rdz pipes and they can chime in and say hey the sb made thebest all around power with more torque but the rdz made 3 more Hp on top with a little narrower band but only lost 1 lb of torque but the bb sucked except on spray they they blew the others away builders are not always perfect or correct. I am sure at some time or another a builder said you cant get any faster then a 3.9 on stock cylinders snd now look ehst thry are running. And by no means am I desagreeing with andy but just wanted others opinions on pipes and there conclusions. Not a argument over doing what I'm told. Thanks

Well I talked to andy he said shearers but it really shouldn't matter since they are not ported I could see if he ported them and the porting was designed to work with the pipes I guess I should have said that. So that being out of the way what's the best pipe for stock ported 421 cub. Also ive heard a little rumor that rocket well maybe have a oof by spring anyone heard this.

  24. For cylinders pistons crank domes for my coolhead and cutting my tranny gaskets and seals and him asembleing the inner cases and topend I still have to put the clutch side and stator side onthe engine it foster me 2200 and some change witch I thought was pretty good
