  1. so how does that work out? the rod you speak of is the connecting rod right? so is it 4 +5 mil? im not understaniding this can you tell me how long the stroke really is?
  2. im confused on the cub sizes i am looking to get a 421cc engine here yamaha says the stock stroke is 54mm http://www.yamaha-motor.com/sport/products.../2/0/specs.aspx but here the numbers dont add up, a 4mil stroker brings it to 58mm stroke right? then i would choose the 68 mm bore http://patriotracing.net/Cheetah%20Cub.htm but 58mm*68mm=394cc NOT 421cc now 62mm*68mm=421cc, but that would be a +8mil right?
  3. im not sure what to go with, shearer cpi or rockets... :shrug: sounds like the shearers make the most power, but dont fit well the cpi's look good to me, but people say they are a second choice and rockets look good as well, looks sorta like shearers and cpi's put together, but i cant find much info on them
  4. so are you saying that i should just ride and upgrade when the time comes? i have two more questions, what do i have to do to put a new swing arm on, im thinking of getting one from the swingarm shop will the stock brake line work on a +4 extended? this is the one im thinking of: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2-4-6-Exten...emZ320005710009 also, what is the max compression psi that i can still run on 91 octane? im at sea level so what size dome would work for me on a 4mil 68bore cub on 91 octane?

Hey guys im looking to do some mods to my banshee so where do you recommend I find this stuff? cheetah cub kits? +4 swinger? +1+2 arms? shocks? oversized radiator? rear axles? dune porting jobs? and also what size engine should i go with a 4mil? does the crank the comes in the cub kit come trued and welded? is that necessary? what pipes would you recommend? i ride dunes and fast trails thanks!

  14. hey guys how is the performance between a banshee and a trx250r im not looking to do any heavy mods, maybe a pipe and airfilter for both... i have a trx250x and my dad has a banshee i need a quad upgrade after riding and mastering my dads quad, so i was looking to buy a banshee for myself, but i dont want to spend more than $3000 in california, and it is hard to find a nice banshee for $3000 in SoCal; so i looked to 250r's. this is something that im thinking of http://adcache.atvtraderonline.com/5/6/5/84978265.htm so how would a banshee compare to a 250r power wise, i know that the 250r's handle better thanks!
