  1. 2002 Yamaha banshee for sale, excellent condition,pc pipes and silencers, boost bottle, uni filter, renthal chain, g-force axle, a must see, asking $4000 CAN dollars
  2. cute... whats so bad about posting a new thread anyway? Everybody seems to have quite a problem if you don't try a search first...
  3. very specific there dude, thanks for the help
  4. Whats involved with a port job and will there be a substantial power increase?
  5. Whats the deals on both the pro design and the noss?
  6. Just wondering, does anybody have a performance head for the banshee? Now that I'm doing the top end I might want to do something about that old stock head... would consider about trading the stocker plus money for a aftermarket head. Preferably like cool head or pro design or something of the such.
  7. By the sound of it your riding conditions are only going to allow you to run with the lid on. Having a K&N lid will still allow water into the box, which is most peoples biggest concern about removing the lid. I'd say you should also save your money, buy a K&N filter to put inside the box, run without the lid when possible and with when its wet... it will not make a considerable amount of difference either way. Make more horsepower out of the motor instead of the filter is your so concerned.
  8. Hey man, nice bike I must say... too bad you never lived closer. Probably one of the only ones here on the forum representing Canada, which is too bad, since I've been looking for a larger displacement 4 stroke. I have an 02 shee, with procircuit pipes/silencers, jetted, boost bottle, uni filter, dg bumper, g-force +4" axle, etc... I'd do a trade in a second if I knew your bike was in similarily good condition, too bad to the distance.... figured I'd write to give you an extra bump though
  9. how much do you want for the head and domes?
  10. I'd say the same thing as the other guys, the bearings are probably eating into the metal in the carrier, or it is just seized in place... get some wd-40 and blast it with a hammer, should come loose.
  11. How much you want for the pro design cool heads and domes?
  12. I'm not really an expert on the topic, but I think if you but the long rod stroker, it will require a special set of pistons and some extensive head mods to be able to fit it into the stock system. Even the 404 big bore will be quite a pain in the ass. So, if your going to be spending a lot of money like it seems like you will, buy some cubs, better carbs, lighten and shave everything you can, advance ignition timing, pipes, complete reed system... you will have a good reliable system with this setup and will undoubtedly be putting out more than enough power for any useful purpose... hope this helps
  13. Any huge mods will just give you massive tire spin and in a dirt drag or mx race it'll get you nowhere, especially not in getting the holeshot.... javascript:emoticon('') smilie
  14. No need for the 450, the shee should run with it. I have an 02 shee with pc full exhaust, jetted, filtered, no air box lid, boost bottle, etc.... mainly what everybody has done in the line of relatively cheap mods and it will put up a great run against an 04' 450 with a reasonable amount of modding done. Just find better ways of putting the power to the ground, better tires for better hookup for example, or maybe simple mods like going up one on the front sprocket and advance the timing a little, you won't need much and you'll be pleasantly surprised.
