  1. I heard that! We will be staying just North of the LS power sports shop. First spot next to 281 hwy. Facing the parking lot. I think that is Sand Fest weekend or something. Already have the site reserved with some guys from Wichita and bringing the kids again. Looking forward to it already! I had to take today off just to get all the sand and mud cleaned off of all my shit! Bob had to fly out for New York at 6:30 this morning! Sucked to be him! SP
  2. Next trip is going to be June 10th - 14th. Last trip for spring. Won't be back until it cools down in the fall. We had a blast even though the weather sucked ass! SP
  3. I have a pink one too. And yes real men can wear pink. But my helmet is yellow! Lol! Glad to hear the Zachcast calls for sunshine! SP
  4. I'll be there. What is the weather going to do? Looks like shit so far! SP
  5. I quit running resistor plugs a long time ago and have dynoed between the BR8ES and the BP8ES. No overall hp or torque differences but the BP plug seems to rev out better. I don't know why the R plug would make a difference with or without stock ignition. SP
  6. I have thought about going to alky also. What is involved in purging the fuel system and why is it necessary? SP
  7. I have to agree. Being courteous to other people and other people's property is what we all expect. Don't park in front of the grocery store doors just cause your only gonna be a minute. Don't park in the handicap spot if your not handicapped. And don't tear up other people's shit. Just common sense man. SP
  8. That looks bitchin! Nice work! SP
  9. Lol! Back to grind and get your shit done! I plan on leaving around 6 am on wed. Should put me there around noon. Gonna need a drinking buddy for Wed nite! Levings won't be there till Thurs after work. Not sure if my buddies are coming with me or not but I'm leaving with or without em! Bob rolling in with you? Talked to Jeff the other day and he said he was coming up on Sat leaving really early from Holton. When you showing up? SP
  10. I've only broken one set of reeds over several years. I've run stock reeds and v force 2s. They should last quite a while unless your bike isn't running right. Most common cause of broken reeds is back firing. One good back fire will shatter any type of reed petal. SP
  11. Sounds like you should spend more time in the garage and less time on the computer! Lol! Get R Done! See you Wednesday!
  12. I've located the RTD directly under the the inlet at the top of the radiator. I run a BP8ES plug but I tried the BR8ES plug when I had the issue and it didn't help. I am out of ideas and growing weary of dicking around with it. SP
  13. No way to check the forks or the drum without splitting the cases that I know of. Not sure of the oil in a tall skinny red jug! Lol! Have you used this oil in the banshee before? I would suspect that if you were using the wrong oil the clutch would slip. Not making it hard to shift. But I would definitely check to make sure the oil is appropriate for your application. SP
  14. Timing plate is a nice inexpensive place to start. Porting will be the most important and most bang for your buck. You won"t realize any performance increase from the v force reeds on a stock motor. They will improve performance on a well built motor though. What are you doing on the intake? More flow in equals more flow out. But as the airflow increases so does the fuel requirements. Don't forget to rejet! SP
  15. What are you running for fluid in the Tranny? It won't shift well while you are sitting still. It is a constant mesh transmission and is design to shift while the gears are rotating. Might be a problem with a worn or bent shift fork or wear on the shifting drum. SP
  16. They have replaced mine as well. Still can't get it to work though. It reads ok for awhile and then shuts off. The guy at CRJ said that it is noise interference from the coil confusing the micro processor in the unit. Remove the battery, let it reset, and it works again for awhile. I've tried everything. Even put a shielding around the length of the cable from the RTD up to the display. This worked the best but eventually did the same thing. My next step is to put a switch inline with the supply fro the battery so I can shut it off without having to take the display out of the housing to reset it. The guy at CRJ told me they haven't been able to come up with a solution for the banshee yet. He said they have no trouble with the 4 strokes and he thought it was because the battery supressed alot of the noise from the ingnition coil. You guys are having good luck with this unit? SP
  17. Same pipes here. Same issue around the hangers. Other then that the chrome is good. I heard that the new pipes are chromed terribly. Should have bought them and had them chromed yourself. Live and learn! I would for sure call and raise hell with them though. SP
  18. I thought it was "Race it, Break it, Fix it, Repeat!" Not "Fix it, Fix it, Fix it, Repeat!" LOL! You really should get some riding in there somewhere Zack! See you next week! SP
  19. Extremes are 1/8th" wider at the base. http://www.skat-trak.com/paddletire.html SP
  20. I am not a jerk. You asked what was hard to understand and I answered. SP
  21. Where ever it can be seen! More bling! Never noticed any drop in temp and I have 2. One after the head and one after the radiator before the water pump. SP
  22. Just checked the website and Haulers and Extremes are the same height. Only Extremes are thicker at the base as previously stated. Just FYI. SP
  23. I think you have it backwards. The Extremes have a thicker paddle and the base. Same cup and same height just more surface contact to the tire. The Haulers will actually bite a little better due to the width of the paddle (at least that's what I've noticed). Has anyone run the "Rippers" yet? Now that is one mean looking tire! SP
  24. Never heard of them. I've always run wiseco. SP
