  1. Dude, I'll race you all day long. I've already seen that bike run! It sure does look fast! J/K . We have to have displacement limits on our races. If Timmy wants to step up to the 4s that's cool. But the rest of us have to step up to your class before you can whip up on us! Unless you want to pull a plug wire! Lol! I'll still race you though. Really curious to see if that Cheetah is "all that"! See you in June buddy! PS you still owe me a phone call bitch SP
  2. I will when I have one worth posting. Last highest I had was at 68 hp and 42 lbs. tq and was too low. I've done some tuning and I am getting where it should be but don't have a sheet to prove it yet so no bragging here. When I have one I'll be sure to post. But really....50hp on a stock ported 350cc.....WOW is all I can say. But good for you! Hope to see some impressive results! SP
  3. I would also completely remove the cdi. edit: I say completely cause you can still spike it through the ground connection. SP
  4. Nice graph but that's a little hard to swallow on a stock ported set of jugs. One thing to remember is that every dyno will read differently. I've had mine read up to 10 hp different on 2 different dynos with the same mods. I also seen an 15 mil banshee dyno at 145 hp and around 85 torque! No dyno sheet to prove it cause it wasn't mine! Lol! SP
  5. I wouldn't risk it and that would be my concern. But I'm not an expert. SP
  6. Fine! I'll carry my own cooler......but your still gonna race me for a beer! I'll collect on Thursday evening when you get there. We can race on Friday! Lol! SP
  7. I wouldn't use octane booster period. Just my personal preference. At the end of the day race fuel isn't that much. I spend about $500 a year on race fuel vs $300 on pump fuel. Just my 2 cents. SP
  8. I'll race you for a beer! Or maybe for the privilege to carry my cooler around! How about that? When are you gonna be there again? Looking forward to some quite riding before the crowd shows up again. Wednesday, and Thursday was nice and quite last time. Friday wasn't bad but Saturday was crazy! Better not plan on running those Zippers! Lol! See you in June Tim! SP
  9. It is definitely a tranny part to something. Do you work on other motors or something that it could belong to? It doesn't look like a YFZ 350 tranny part to me. Maybe Dave or someone with more tranny experience will chime in. I also don't think that spacing will be a problem cause snap rings or shift forks should locate everything. SP
  10. Bore size wont effect compression. At least not so much that it will matter. Static compression is derived from the volume you are compressing from when the exhaust port is closed to volume when the piston is at TDC. Having a piston 0.010" or 0.080" smaller than what you had before is minimal volume difference. More likely you may need to look at the compression ratio (dynamic compression) and there is a formula on here to calculate that (do a search). I would say based on your mods you could probably run pump fuel or maybe have a need for a 50/50 mix but not straight 110. What exactly do you mean by "fried your pistons"? There are several things that can cause piston/ring failure besides fuel. SP
  11. Yes. I believe that is true. If one oil was truly superior everyone would be using it! SP
  12. I hear that people like Amsoil because anyone can be a dealer and they can get it at a good price. That's just the scuttlebutt of what I've heard. I have never ran it so I've no personal experience.
  13. Nice score man! I would love to fine something all stock for a buddy of mine. He doesn't need anything that someone else has messed with or anything wicked fast to start with. That sounds like a good price if it really is in that good of shape with those hours on it! SP
  14. 2nd that. Never run the R-50. Don't know if it's better or not. SP
  15. If the Raptor is stock you should smoke him. The old Raptors were set up with a really high center of gravity and were really hard to keep the front end down. I had a buddy that had an 02 or 03 and I could pass him anytime I wanted to with a dune ported stock stroke motor. SP
  16. I am 185 lbs and I run mine at 3 psi usually (depending 0n the sand). SP
  17. I would definately vent the crankcase at the rear of the case to prevent access pressure. As far as the front near the water pump, I feel that is a matter of preference. I have mine vented there due to ease of build, i.e. it was already there. Your choice bro. SP
  18. you mean the right top in your picture? They all bolt to the swingarm. SP
  19. I agree that ripping people off sucks. But for real, what kind of regulation can you put on it to protect everyone? I can fix alot of things but I can't fix stupid. The same applies here. Use your head. If it is to good to be true it likely is. If it is a good deal and the person seams reputable then go with your instincts. I am sure we have all been taken a time or two by someone "slicker" then ourselves. Yes, it sucks. but we learn. Blanket bans hurt the population more then protecting it. Look at what the government does with their control. I mean shit, just use your head, you don't need someone else looking out for you, do you, really? Just my 2 cents worth. SP
  20. The top left goes on the swing arm bolt and the top right attaches to the swingarm itself in front of the axle. The rollers are replacements for the stock rollers. No pics to help, sorry. On the road at the moment. SP
  21. Lol! Ya baby, that DVX 400 is the SHIT! But it's not for sale. That would get me divorced! That is my wife's bike! What parts you changing? SP
  22. Ohhhhhh.......Bob! Your a funny little shit! I still haven't got to run your 79."1" HP beast yet! LOL! Had a great time this weekend even though we didn't get much riding in. Good luck with your 4 poke hunt. YFZ 450? SP
  23. Mine wasn't missing anything either. Was just bored one night and figured what the hell. So that is what I came up with. SP
  24. In the front? I drilled a hole through the sides of the frame that the seat cleat fits into, I put an M6 bolt through it with an acorn nut on the inside so it is next to the seat cleat. Worked perfect. SP
  25. Maybe it is Sand Jam. We are staying about 30 yards north east of where the Dyno sits. Right by the parking lot for the power sports shop. I don't have anything against the state grounds. It is just that we can reserve in sand city. Plus sand city is private property and you don't get crossways with the cops for standing in the road! Lol. Bob on a 4 poke? What will he do with that motor? SP
