  1. True, but not everyone uses Engine Ice. And lazy people that can't pick up their own SHIT piss me off too! Common sense sometimes isn't so common! SP
  2. Wow! That seems a stretch to have too different pistons installed but a even farther stretch that the rod grew 5mm! Really can't think of anything else it could be though. You would think if it was a bad bearing around the wrist pin it wouldn't come up TO deck height. Wrist pin location would be a good thing to check. SP
  3. Kevin at HJR can have it done I believe. I'd also bet Jeff at FAST could have it done but not sure. SP
  4. Milling the head changes the combustion chamber volume but also reduces your squish clearance. Too little squish can be bad. You are limited to what you can accomplish with a stock head without rechambering. Now you are talking more money then an after market head and domes. Especially when you have several stock heads that have been rechambered vs. different domes with different squish bands and varying CCs. SP
  5. They should be equal but the clymer's manual will give you the specs for rod end play. SP
  6. 33pwk has the same intake size as the 35pwk. This is the filter I use. http://www.knfilters.com/search/product.aspx?Prod=RU-1090 SP
  7. Not when it needs a top end and a new crank! Lucky to get $300 for the cases, tranny, clutch, and jugs (if the jugs aren't punched out too far). SP
  8. Yep, like Dave said, you can take a very strong running motor and it will run like shit if it isn't tuned correctly or lose in a race if it isn't set up correctly. Through no fault of the builder at all. SP
  9. I would shoot him a price of 1k first. You can always go up but you can't go down!! Since the plastic looks rough I would really look over the bearings/bushings good (axle, a arms, swinger, etc). Maybe even take a compression tester with you. You can always get the price down further if you can point out things that need work. SP
  10. If your crank is separating you don't wan to run it. Send it back and get a refund. It will cost you more to have it rebuilt then what you can buy a used one for. Pressing it back together isn't wise either. It could very well be out of phase. When you get another one get it welded so that doesn't happen! Good luck. SP
  11. I've also got one of their old stators. Mine's probably 8 years old. Never had an issue with it. SP
  12. Not sure but I think someone on here said not to mix av fuel with other fuels. Not sure again but I think it has something to do with the lead content? WTFDIK? SP
  13. Dude! The Chief's are a real hard team to be a fan of! Lol! No idea on tires. I used to run some Realtors and they were some mean fuckers back then but that was when I first got my banshee. Now I ride in the sand 90% of the time and run Skat Trak Haulers. I've got a set of XC Holeshots for anything else and don't care for them much, but, I ride in a lot of grass and shit when not in the sand. They hood up well on asphalt and may do well on hard packed dirt like an MX track but not sure about tloose stuff. SP
  14. I was just up that way this week in Fort Wayne. And I am drinking beer to. Just me and the bar tender! Lol! SP
  15. Yep. I used to run 21's with 91/93 and 20's were pushing it for me so I stayed with 21's. SP
  16. Cool. I hear the the Trinity head has the best water flow pattern. Too bad the domes are so expensive and aren't interchangeable! SP
  17. HJR and FAST Where is South Bend. I'm in Indianapolis now but flying out tomorrow. Need someone to have a beer with! Lol! SP
  18. There are so many things I'd like to add to this thread but......I think I'll stick with "were those tires really backwards on the KXT in the middle picture on page 2?" Lol! SP
  19. I'll trade you that head for a PD head. Did you get any domes with it?
  20. If I remember correctly it uses the stock studs. Been a couple of years since I got rid of mine and longer then that since I worked on it but that's what I remember. SP
  21. I'll have to check them out. After I run out of the renthals! I have a couple of pair left! I buy everything in bulk, LOL! SP
  22. At 130 static compression you shouldn't need race fuel or a mix. The domes you run will dictate the fuel you should use. I would choose my domes based on the performance I am after. Smaller domes = higher compression = higher octane. SP
  23. I like the Renthal diamond grips in medium. SP
