  1. If I were doing it that way I would solder them first and use epoxy filled heat shrink tubing. Actually, if it were me I would just eliminate the key altogether. For all of the reasons stated. Ignition trouble, lack of theft prevention. I can't think of one pro, only cons. SP
  2. I really don't like to speak for others but I have seen Quaddad's bike run with the Extreme Dunable and ridden it myself and it shifts well. I have also seen Matt's run with the same tranny that he bought from Andy and he says it runs well. I have not put mine back in because I haven't had the time and I wanted to see others run them before I commit. Mine goes in over the summer for the Fall season. After all the hassle, I think that Greg did the right thing. I hear guys bitching about the amount of time and claiming it shipped several times, blah blah blah. I think it is best to do it right and be done with it. Greg was very apologetic to me and yes, it did take several weeks (like 8 or 10) to get my tranny back. But, if I'd have gotten it back in 2 weeks and it broke again I'd really have been pissed. He also never told me it was gonna ship until it did. I also didn't pester the shit out of him about getting it done. Greg gets my vote for a stand up guy and props for standing behind his product through all the shit. Nothing gets improved on without some shit getting stirred one way or another. Hopefully after the smoke clears we will have one of the best dunable overrides out there. Just my 2 cents and I'll have more when I get some time on my override. Also, Hilarious, how do you have a stock stroke 4 mil 350? Lol! SP
  3. That"s prolly the only way you can keep your ass from sliding off that leather seat! But you'll prolly turn Timmy into an animal! Which is something no of us wanna see. Lol! SP
  4. I'm still thinking you need to sell me the 10! Lol! And I'll buy you a spare set of nerfs! SP
  5. You're an absolute nut! Lmao! That's a lot of work with what's involved in pulling your motor and all! You wanna paint Ethan's frame same color blue? I can maybe bring it down in June. SP
  6. That's just silly! I would really reconsider doing further business with them. SP
  7. Sweet! I'll get a hold of Kevin and see if I can talk him into coming. Show and Shine, Jason? That thing is gonna be so dirty by the time we get around to that part of the season! Lol! It cant stay pretty forever bro! SP
  8. Looking like it will be Thursday morning. If we made it Wednesday it would be after work before I could leave. SP
  9. I be bringing the HQ banner! Still up in the air when I'm headed out. Wed or Thur! SP
  10. Just giving you some shit bro! You're bringing Shinner?!?! That is great! I'll drink whatever you bring! I should prolly get a big ole bottle of buttershots too huh? Gonna be a great time! SP
  11. Your post is a little hard to read but I think I get the jist of your question. I would never put that kind of money into a motor running a set of 66.5mm bore cyls. A new top end on a good crank, maybe. If I were gonna go with a 4 mil I'd find a set of virgin jugs and start there. Porting for the 4 mil is also the only way to go. The spacer plate is another place for leaks and why increase displacement and stroke length if your gonna run stock timings? There is so much power to be had with good porting alone. Just my 2 cents SP
  12. I might be there early. Still to soon to tell. What time are you guys going out? Radar, hit me up if you're gonna make it. Maybe we can hook up and follow each other. SP
  13. What am I? Chopped liver? Wait till you need my flywheel puller or my flow meter! PS
  14. I don't go any where without them! Lol! What about the kids? I haven't asked the boys if they wanna come yet cause I didn't want to have to tell them no if it wasn't "kid friendly". SP
  15. That is wrong on sooo many levels! Just found out I can' leave until thursday. We will leave early thursday though. Be down around noon. SP
  16. Yeah, I bet the coals under the seat would put you right to sleep if you're out by yourself! Get all warm and cozy and then drift right off to never never land! Lmao! So, 3 sites to start with? Or just one for Tim and CJ, and everyone else pile in? SP
  17. No. The pressure differential will definitely open the reeds. It sounds like you have too much air and not enough fuel. Which could be jetting or an air leak. Wouldn't know if you have an air leak because you didn't leak test anything after having the top end off. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. Flip the reeds back over and see where you're at if that's all you changed between running and not running. I think it is just a coincidence though. SP
  18. What were the results fo the leak sown test? SP
  19. Quaddad has his in but hasn't ran it yet. Still putting things together. Will test middle of May at LS. SP
  20. What do you mean by all torn down? Replaced gaskets? Are we just talking about the intake? Top end? Cases? Just by what you are describing it sounds like jetting. Hard to start but runs fine once warm. Need more info. SP
  21. WTH? Five beers is like foreplay! And NOTHING happens before 1am! Besides Magz, I don't wanna ride that 700 anyway, sumbitch is to hard to roll off of me. I can get sites on Wed. since I should be rolling in Wed. afternoon. Just let me know what I need to grab. I don't think it is an event weekend and I would like to grab sites in the middle north of the T shirt shop like always. Lemme know SP
  22. Ethan and I should be leaving on Thursday for sure. May leave a day early on Wednesday or even Tuesday. Depends on what I've got going. SP
  23. BR8ES or B8ES will work just fine. The lack of resistor can effect the radio reception in your car or your banshee! Lol! It can also effect a temperature gauge like the one CRJ Performance sells. I run BP8ES plugs and have for awhile. It showed to rev out better on the dyno with the BP plugs. SP
