  1. Amen! Do you put your gas can in a paint shaker to mix it after adding your oil ? I can't believe there are that many posts about mixing fuel! The oil is *designed* to mix with the fuel. Piece of cake, just know how much gas you put in and add oil accordingly, Shake bike back and forth and get back to riding. SP Oh, and how the fuck did you get a pic of my bike in your sig, loc?

  3. TM Design wont allow the fit of a 15t sprocket either. A little modifying and it will fit but not out of the package. SP
  4. If the wires were backwards it wouldn't run. The only way you get shocked is if you provide a better circuit to ground than your wiring does. Check your connections and if your system shuts off by grounding the ignition circuit (older wiring harnesses closed the circuit to complete the path in the ignition system instead of grounding them out to stop) then make sure you have a good ground to the frame.   5. They only suck if the flywheel/key combination isn't installed correctly. I think it's mostly preference. The guys that run a timing plate think it is the best and the guys that successfully run the offset key think that it is good enough. I prefer the plate myself, plus it gives you the ability to adjust the timing and not just fix it at +4. The stock plate can be easily modified to give you up to about 4 degrees of timing as well (just fyi). As for your question, I'd say your probably good on high octane pump fuel also. But, for peace of mind I'd probably run 25% 110 with it. You can hear detonation and that's what you'll get if your compression ratio is too high for the fuel you're running. So *play it by ear* so to speak. SP

  14. If you port new cylinders for a 4 mil your not going to use your stock crank. (Wasn't sure if you knew that but based on earlier questions I didn't want you getting confused). No re jetting for new top end. Only performance gain would be higher compression from a new top end. SP
  15. 0.040" or 40 thousandths is equal to 1 mm. So 0.090" over is 2.25 mm over stock bore or 66.25 mm. 66.50 is the max to go on stock cylinders. The cylinder wall is very thin at that point. That means your looking at new cylinders or new sleeves likely next time your top end needs work. SP

  17. Depends on the riding you do. When I ran Type F I could barely make it a day before it needed changed. But we drag race a lot in the sand and I am really hard on the clutch to get out of the hole well. It is pretty simple. Oil needs to be changed when it breaks down. The type of oil you use and your driving habits will determine how long it will last. Check your oil and change it when needed. SP

  19. Put my 6 over swinger on and new chain. Cut the chain with it around my after market "black" nylon slider that goes around the pivot tube of the swinger instead of the primary drive sprocket. New chain was then too short! I thought I had an awful lot of chain left over! SP
  20. You likely won't notice much of an increase in performance with the V3s on a stock ported motor. Advance timing if it isn't done already. Also re jetting wont net more performance unless the jetting isn't correct already. More compression with an aftermarket head and correct domes size will increase torque but depending on how much you go will determine the type of fuel needed to prevent detonation. Porting is the best bang for your buck next to increasing timing. SP
  21. It runs like he said it would. You can up and downshift without the clutch. I typically try to clutch when downshifting but it doesn't always happen. I am a little cautious when downshifting but I ride it pretty hard. If it breaks, oh well, I'll just fix it . If I can't ride it hard than I want my old cut tranny back anyway. Cam doesn't know what he is talking about. I NEVER backload my shit! Lmao! SP
  22. I've got a set of them on an Arctic Cat DVX 400 under works shocks and it makes for a pretty plush ride on that bike. I don't know if all of them come with Heim Joints but the set I have does. Quality seems to be ok. We don't ride the Cat too hard, well, most of the time we don't. Hehehe! I am happy with them on that bike. I am sure they would be decent for a Banshee as well. SP
