  1. I'd let my Stellar arched chrome 6 over swing arm go with billet carrier/caliper mount and pivot tube with new bearings for $750. SP
  2. You got enough for the order? I can order more if you need them. SP
  3. Whoa, whoa, whoa! You aint got no braggin rights with me! We only shared a room! Lol! Nothing more! You get an enclosed trailer and we can take my RV. Then you can have the front with Big E and I can have the back! He will be old enough to drive by then! SP
  4. I think I might be down for some of that! I promise not to snore! Lol! SP
  5. How much did you say it was to have our screen name on the back?
  6. The black shirts are always so hot. I like the ones that are yellow, red, my favorite is the batch you did in orange. Any of those with metallic black logos would look good. But we'll take whatever, XL and a S. SP
  7. Could also be something came loose inside the clutch cover and damaged the crank seal allowing gearcase oil into the crankcase. But in either case, sounds like oil to me. If it was water from the head gasket you could have check for bubbles in the radiator with the cap off before you took the head off. A leak test will tell you if it is air tight as has been said multiple times. SP
  8. That's all fine and good, but I bought my duner already PCed and I can't read the VIN. I know a lot of guys that have custom frames with no VIN also. Kinda makes it a pain in the ass. I not keen on scraping my paint to obtain a VIN. And what do you to show PROOF of ownership? SP
  9. Yeah, that whole registration thing seems to be a pain in the ass. Out of the 6 bikes I own I only have titles for 2 of them. SP
  10. Exactly, It isn't heat from combustion, it is heat from friction due to lack of lubrication from a lean air to fuel mixture. The exhaust side of the piston usually sustains damage first if you displace fuel (oil) with air. The exhaust side is easy to see. You can also check the intake side (which I would do if the exhaust looks good), then check the stator side and then the clutch side as I said previously. If you find nothing after all this, you may be faced with spitting the cases to find the issue. SP
  11. X2. You'll have the pipes pulled so look at the exhaust side of the piston. If nothing, check the stator side (only because it's easy and no fluid to drain) then the clutch side to make sure nothing is binding it up. All of this has to come off anyway if you melted it down. Could be the crank spread or something broke in the tranny also. Several things to look at but a white plug does point to a lean condition. SP
  12. Yeah, don't try a 3 jaw or to pry it off. The puller is cheap and all the other ways have a high likelihood of damaging the flywheel. Also, when using the puller, clean the flywheel threads really good and use a little grease on the threads of the puller. Then make sure it threads ALL the way in (left hand threads) otherwise you may pull the threads if it hasn't been off in awhile. SP
  13. Yep, I wouldn't change from stock until you ride it and see what it feels like. Never heard of a 6 mil stroker before. SP
  14. Get the skat trac mohawks. I'll buy em from you after the trip SP
  15. I always use razor blades to initiate separation when everything else fails. With baby taps. Remember these are sealing surfaces, you don't want to damage them. Don't be a "hammer" mechanic. Always replace the gaskets. I think you will be disappointed as you new reeds likely will NOT come with new gaskets. I usually order them a dozen at a time but I've got 3 motors to maintain. SP
  16. And starting the burn sooner allows for a more complete burn equaling what I would call a better burn.
  17. If they simulate porting a good set of reeds may compliment them. A timing plate allows for better burn of the combustion charge. Tors isn't a performance mode and jetting isn't a mod, it is considered set up and tuning. Are these pistons cast or forged? SP
  18. 8 hp is quite a bit to be gained from pistons in my opinion. I'd think if that were the case everyone here would be raving about them. Everyone isn't but they do speak highly of the wisecos, as do I, so that is where I would put my money. I don't think anyone is going to buy an 8 hp gain without some timeslips or dyno numbers to back it up. Just my 2 cents. SP
  19. Just buy this guys bike. Perfect set up and not another better buy out there. Lol! SP
  20. I always watch the weather. Although you're right, they're always off. Hell, they change the forecast as we are driving down there! SP
  21. Was there snow when you left? Holding out for good weather by next weekend! SP
