  1. FMF are a good pipe too. Been around forever and you see a lot of them out there. Good luck and keep that. Ikr clean! Lol! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Fattys, pro circuit, PT mids, are probably gonna be your best options. I had PT mids and a single intake on my sons first Banshee and it was a nice little torquey set up. Just sold the PTs a couple of weeks ago. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. CPIs are a great pipe but it is an inframe drag pipe. They pull really hard on top. You said you were going for a trail riding application. Not sure I would go with CPIs for that, but I also don't know what kind of trails you ride. Toomeys arent a bad choice, but again a bit of a higher RPM powered pipe. 4. That's what I was gonna say! Sweet find! Lots of good trail pipes out there. I suppose my favorite trail pipe would be a PT mid. But pro circuits are a good trail pipe, FMF fattys are a good pipe, toomeys are popular. Probably T6s on a stock port as opposed to the T5s. Many choices. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. A little hard to give advice like suggested swingarm length based on ride environment and hp number alone. There isn't a single component that determines anything. A well set up bike is a system of all components. I ran this 8 over on a 105hp stk cyl 4m in a sand drag application with a link shaw set up with 13 haulers and 14 extremes at a 72 ro with 14/41 and 14/42 gearing. SP
  6. You can sync them by eye and get them close. Or get a carb sync tool and sync them by air flow which is more accurate. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Zilla is right. But a welded crank solves this by reducing the risk of the crank twisting out of phase or spreading. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Nice 8 over link arm from metaltech of you are interested. $375 shipped. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. I'd recommend replacing them as a set but I've replaced them individually as well and not had an issue. Doesn't mean that each case is the same though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. MX port. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. 7m stroke 64.25 bore equals 395cc Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. ^^^^yep. Unless you've seen it run or know and trust who it's coming from or somebody you trust can vouch for it, it is a gamble. Unless it is a killer deal, it's a tough call. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Unless you know the guy or know the motor, I'd lean towards the one that I could check out and ride. Hear it run, comp test it, etc. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Port work is the best bang for your buck at the point you are at. Not much to be gained in pistons. If you need pistons go with a piston you are comfortable with. I just use weisco pistons. Never had a failure due to product. Top end rebuild done with the motor in the bike. I'd say 2-3hours. That's if you have everything you need when you start. Seems to never work out that way. 15. You usually have to bend the brake lever slightly because it will interfere with the clutch, but hell, a stock cover usually has brake lever scaring on it. I've got DD lockouts on three motors and it is easy to get used to. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Easily enough room. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. You can remove the entire clutch if you take off the outer ring that the lens mounts to. The sling shot is smaller diameter than the clutch. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. You can't access it by removing the lens, but you can by removing the outside ring. Hell, you can take the entire clutch out by removing the outer ring. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Well, if a sling shot fits under a stock cover (with slight modification) why would it not work with matoons lockout cover? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. I thought the sling shot would fit under a stock cover with a slight modification the the 3 nubs inside the cover. Part of the reason for using a slingshot was stealth. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. 7 days for an order? Hell, I waited 3 weeks on a quote for hydro dipping a swingarm! Lol! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. X-ring is different than o-ring chain. The seal is completely different. However, the use of either will rob power. Now you have to make a choice.....while an x-ring chain may last longer if well maintained, is it worth the power loss? For me, I run a DID MX 520 chain on all my bikes. I've no issue to replace them when they wear out, but in the grand scheme of things, chain is a wearable item anyway. Just like oil and air filters. Cost of riding. One thing you don't want is a broken chain and a set of cases that have a hole in them. You can buy a lot of chain for those kind of dollars. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Lol! Well, he did mention stock except for the fmfs. Can't question a statement like that. [emoji12] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
