  4. Dust covers shouldn't make a difference in your vertical movement. They are dust covers, not bushings. They protect the bushings from getting dirty. Your bushings, sleeve, and bolt should be what eliminates any play. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Block it. Reason- not needed. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I'm going with zero rpm for safe. Seems most applicable to me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. If someone has already had a 3 jaw puller on it there is a good chance that the woodruf key has rocked in the keyway. Once that happens your best bet is to tighten the nut down and try to reseat the flywheel. Then pull again. Last time I had that happen I couldn't get it to reseat. The key dug into the keyway on the flywheel and there was no way it was going to be pulled off. I bent a set of 2" thick cross beams in a hyd press trying to press the flywheel off. Have to be careful reseating it also. I snapped off the threaded end of a crank once also and the had to bore into the crank and add a threaded rod to repair it on a brand new crank. Once I cut the flywheel off there was a nice little gouge mark perpendicular to the keyway where the key had gotten wedged. So welding the flywheel puller to it may not work if this is the case. 8. 4.5" grinder and a die grinder with a cut off wheel after I ground the river heads off with a grinding wheel. You just have to be careful not to cut into the taper of the crank. It's dirty and time consuming but it will save your crank and stator. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. I've had to cut a couple off before. You can do it without damaging the crank or the stator if you take your time. If the woodruf key has rocked in the keyway, you will never pull it off or press it off. I had one stuck once and had it in a 10 ton press and it wouldn't budge. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. This is completely wrong. He doubled the amount of oil he was told to use. He used 32 oz instead of 16 oz to the same amount of fuel. His Motor will be fine but your math needs some serious help. Lol! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
