  1. 03 banshee with porting and cpi pipes......at an idle the bike runs great, starts on the first or second kick...when i go to about 1/4 throttle and keep it there, such as going down the dune access roads, the left cylinder loads up and quits firing. when i open the throttle up past 3/4 it clears out and hits on both cylinders and takes off. i pulled off the left carb and cleaned it out, no change, it just keeps dropping the left side on partial throttle....any help would be great. thanks
  2. i am sure you are right about buying a used one. but part of me wants a brand new bike that no one has ridden before. i dont have to rush into anything though, my big bore R is still in great shape. thank you Dave Duste jr
  3. thank you for all your help guys, i am a tried and true two stroke person. i just am not interested in the 4 strokes yet. here in southern oregon you can get a brand new banshee for 5699.00 where a YFZ is 7000.00. i am sorry, but that is too much to pay for a bike. i have rode a YFZ and they are the closest to a 2 stroke but not quite. i am sure i will get a banshee.
  4. thank you, now one more question. i know that everyone is jumping on the yfz450 bandwagon, but can a piped banshee run with one??? i would much rather buy a new banshee when i retire my"R" , but i want a fast good machine and the yfz s are so overpriced right now.
  5. i would like everyones opinion also...i have a built 86 ATC295R. i have had it since i bought it brand new when i was 17. i am now considering going to the "dark side" and getting a quad. i am torn between a Raptor 660 or a Banshee. I have always been a 2 stroke person, what do you guys think is faster and better for the dunes, the 660 or banshee. thank you, by the way i still love my 295R and it will be hard to part with.
