  1. Should use a retainer there. An old school "upgrade" on higher HP setups is to use 2 retainers. HQ sponsor F.A.S.T. Racing offers a full bearing clip option also but I prefer the two clip method.
  2. As you raise the clip it drops the needle into the main jet which leans it. The site has some great reads on jetting: What Is Jetting - A Great How-to Article. - Jetting & Exhaust Forum - Banshee HQ Forums Banshee Jetting FAQ (dfn.com)
  3. Looking for in or out of frame?
  4. Maybe a light rub with a scotch pad could rejuvenate those steels
  5. Interesting, I've had clutches "stuck" to the point that the only way I could separate them was to slide the plates apart but yours look as though the fibers had adhered into the surface of the steels. What oil and how long had the bike sat?
  6. Dang, I'm not messing with pictures - We're old timers here. Look at my old post's and the good/bad sellers feedback if you question my character. I recently posted what a pita it was for me to post pictures. All of my HQ pics - General Banshee Discussion - Banshee HQ Forums I rarely sell anything and one of the main reasons is because with all the screwing around with pictures and the typical 20 questions it just isn't worth it to me. Since you were a long time HQ member (we've even had some pm's) I thought I'd step up to help you with what you were looking for and here I am spending more time on it than I care to. Here's my offer. If you want the cover just pm your address and once received if you like it you can send a check and if you don't I'll pay the return shipping and just put it back in the basement. You can't loose. Let me know
  7. Back in the day I had a little Nash Rambler with that problem
  8. Bought two covers a long time ago because I liked the dimpled top surface over my plain ones but after all these years I decided I wasn't ever going to mess with them so I gave one to my son. If you'd like the other I'll take what I paid for it $35.00 plus shipping *you cover the paypal fee's* It look's like this but the letters are silver and mine comes with free dust from sitting in my basement: New OEM Yamaha Banshee Black Complete Seat Assembly | eBay
  9. Plugs backing out is always an indication of detonation and will likely lead to motor damage if the problems not corrected.
  10. Looking for a Mindbender Motorsports fuel tank
  11. Do yourself a favor and stick with OEM.
  12. The BR8ES is what 99% of guy's with gas motors run. If your not having an issue with fouling there's no reason to change.
  13. Anyone offering a bushing that's not steel?
  14. Since there's more HQ activity and new member signups lately I'd like to do what I can to help steer anyone away from the typical Facebook bs. I have all of the images that went with any of my posts but the Photobucket links were lost when I let that account go. Since I only use a laptop is there a member here willing to insert any pics that might be requested if I email them to you?
  15. That's second wheel gear and yes it should spin freely.
  16. Jeff and Cody are great guy's and will do you right plus there's a 12% sale going on 11/26 - 12/1 Also,,, Be sure to take advantage of the great info archived on the site.
  17. Always new for me unless I happen to be doing an emergency fix at the track and don't have one. To answer your question. I've got much invested in my stuff to risk running without it.
  18. Hot Rods with outer bearing upgrades for me.
  19. What --- Oh hell no. What are you thinking?
  20. With an electric impact you can easily buzz the nut loose just holding the inner hub by hand
  21. I've never done it myself since I have the few tools and specialty equipment needed for a Banshee teardown but if the motor is in the chassis and the chain is on just put it in gear and hold the rear brake to lock the trans main shaft?
  22. 375hp banshee is likely nailed this one. *Usually hose is collapsed inside causing a check valve flapper situation Before changing Professions almost 35 years ago I'd gone to https://www.unoh.edu/academics/college-of-applied-technologies/ straight out of High School and brakes is one field that I was Certified in. Long story short I did several hundred brake jobs at a Shop that I was at and ran into this probably three times then later in life had it happen to my own vehicle.
