Sadly I'd have to agree. Can't do anything about the age but can the weight.
I was a lean 165 for years until age 40+ but don't think I'll ever see that again.
At 50 I hit a high of 225 and couldn't stand myself so I worked hard and lost 40.
I usually pack on 10 tax time pounds and lose it during the summer but this year I've been bad and haven't taken care of myself.
I'll be in the upper 180's by my Dec cruise and am determined not to go above 190 this tax season so a 180 goal for early race season 2014 won't be hard to obtain. My downfall is pizza, pasta and beer damn it!
Clean the cases with carb or brake cleaner and make sure their good and dry then put it in a new seal without any sealer.
I agree that the vents need to be checked.
Don't have pictures of that particular set on the bike but I do have some old videos of the exact same size on the bike.
The only way I know how to send the video is to an email address so pm me if interested.
PM sent RagunCajun.
Yes, I contacted Jerry and got the O-ring kit so it has everything that it originally came with : Ready to install
Head, water outlet, chrome acorn nuts, copper washers and o-rings

I went down the same road with their shit on a special order for a rear sprocket once. Paid a premium for it only to have the tips of the teeth started curling over after 6 passes on my asphalt bike. The thing was soft as aluminum foil. Called, Sent a note with pictures etc - Got no where with them....NEVER again have I used or recommended their crap.
Don't think it's my place to say what his times were. Does it matter? He was running with the 3 fastest cars there but bracket racing is way more than being the fastest.
Is what it is.... He's taken a lot of shit over comments about his 30 years of drag racing experience but bottom line is he is very very good.
Big dollar sponcors don't hire guy's that only think you need to know how to stomp the petal to the floor.
Bryan was substantialy faster in the good air out East but I'm not going to give up his ET's. I can tell you he was set on kill over the weekend. Took top honors (#1) at the Labor Day race. It was a pleasure to see him work up the ladder. I'd taken a steak dinner on our last bet and he came with revenge on his mind lol. I should have had him covered in the 1/8 mile with my Banshee but he nailed me there and plain and simple would have annihilated me in the quarter had we been allowed to stage together....Kudos to his sportsmanship of even giving me a second chance at what should have been my race. Your a class act Bryan and a master at the art of drag racing. We had a great time with you Lisa and the others and look forward to next year.
Ted & Karen
You definetly need to pull arm weight from the lockup but the street is no place for a drag bike and your efforts would be a waste of time because that surface will never duplicate a properly prepped race track.
Your looking for used Kendo?
I'm sure I have some decent serviceable ones if thats the way you really want to go.
Say $15.00 shipped for all 3.
PM me if interested.
Got an o-ring kit from Jerry (Chariot) to go with this.
Brand new with everything at a big savings.
** This head is CHROME head not polished aluminum **
Strictly an 1/8 mile asphalt drag bike.
Stock cylinders can be made to run but speaking from experience do yourself a favor and go with the cub.
I'm doing a 10mil this season but have had a 4mil since 2008 and liked it so much that I kept it totally intact as a backup instead of using pieces parts for the new motor.
I have this listed on HQ.
All the extras that you find you need when you buy a "kit" are included plus it was hardly used.

Possible but slim chance that you actually had a plug break off. Most likely detonation.
Porcelin is tough on internals so you'll find some sort of damage from this. If your lucky just the crown and dome will be effected.
Be sure to check the squish when re-assmbling and once it's back up and running spend some time tuning.
As Jereme asked, What elevation and octane?
I agree with toytech...
Sometimes they seem long / somestimes short.
I spray them with whitegrease and as the carrier dries off they get sticky and will stay down.
