  1. Story of my frickin' life.... Bought mine in Dec for $80.00 and won't even use it until May Shoot me a pm JD - I'd like to have you take some material off to lighten it up if you can. Thanks
  2. M8 X 1.25 is the stock size and pitch. The ARP nuts that I got from Jeff @ FAST for my cubs fit the stock studs.
  3. Dang you guys are brutal. My first build was done in a dirt floor drafty building with a sliding barn door in front. Work bench was a small hydraulic welding table and the lighting was a double bulb halogen lamp, drop light (both powered by an extension cord to the house) and an open the front door lol. Still got that sweet little bike.... To the OP - Just like antique tractors Banshees get boring because they all look so similar. Clean/paint it up the way you like it to look. Have fun and good luck with the build.
  4. When discussing or getting final drive ratio/sprocket recommendations keep in mind what primary gear ratio you'll be using. An overdrive ratio will allow for a smaller front sprocket. Just like everything else - Get a solid baseline recommendation and hit the track. Those ET slips don't lie. Sometimes they prove you're not as smart as you think you are lol
  5. I wouldn't say it's the absolute best but without a doubt the most popular is going to be the 20X8X10 American Racer in SD 23 compound. If you have enough motor to pull the gearing needed through the 1/8 mile with your small tire I'd agree with Bryan.
  6. Yep, Boubin Tire beats all other distributors. http://www.americanraceronline.com/Distributor/boubin/index.html The tires we use on asphalt ATV's are made for dirt micro sprint cars. http://www.americanraceronline.com/Dirt-track/dirt-microsprint.html
  7. There's always a stench of testosterone in this place. Where the hell are the chicks?
  8. One of the good guy's for sure Very reasonable price on a quality used item. Right on top of communication / lightening fast shipping with ins & tracking etc. and some of the best packing I've seen. Couldn't have asked for a better transaction. Bravo Wes!!
  9. Lots of variables when it comes to pipes. My 4mil cub with Shearers has been 3.91 in the 330 on asphalt with a 1/4 mile setup.
  10. I still have these. Hand coned - Quality chrome - Small bore/Small flange one out each side with EGT ports. Link to pic of right pipe before and after being repaired by Matt Shearer and of the left pipe. http://bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=170860&hl=
  11. Would you do $265.00 paypal gift for the tranny and cases shipped to Ohio? Are the case bolts & nuts included?
  12. Ya, I've had no luck in making contact with him for years..
  13. Can't seem to get ahold of Dave any longer and I'm wanting new. Any Sponsors have them?
  14. What do you guy's use to hold/glue cub water jacket plugs in place? Mine fit to loose unless I build them up with a bunch of Teflon tape. Even had the darn things spin up into the water jackets and that's sometimes a treat to fish out lol.
  15. 3 - 19cc untouched cool head domes No damage or pitting $45.00 shipped in the lower 48 only
  16. Not a stock crank. Sorry to post this link but..... Cranks with those rods are really bad news. Might save the buyer and seller a lot of grief. http://bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=155898
  17. Jeff ( http://www.mrblingmotorsports.com/) polished the grill and carbs for my wifes bike and we had people at the race track comment on the "chrome work" we had done! Awesome work. great communication and he got the parts turned around when he said he would.
  18. Years ago I found myself in your place expecting the wrist pin bearings to be in the piston kits. After all, who'd put in all those fresh parts including a new pin w/o a new bearing? Whenever I've bought a Hot Rod or Crankworks crank wrist pin bearings were zip tied to the rod end so I guess that's why companies like Wiseco don't automatically include them with the kit. Someone should write a book of all the crap that we get schooled on when dealing with these dang Banshees lol. Anyway - Call Jeff and he'll hook you up right away. I'm surprised that slipped past him as he's usually very good about mentioning any other items that might be needed for our projects. Good luck with your build.
