  2. DING DING DING/WINNER!!! Fast87 is correct ! The sliding pins are frozen and the caliper cant slide so it wears the pads REAL fast on one side!! I use anti-sieze on them after i get em cleaned up!
  3. Yes , the orings and stock clutch plates do NOT get used! Loco if i dont get your shirt out today I will get it to you as soon as i get back from my get-away!! I needed a break !
  4. Loco, you crazy sob, that one had me . Thats some good shiat. Treelizard the easy spring mod is a spring that makes it easier to shift your bike for cheap!!! Would NOT recommend it if you already have a shift star mod though. I will keep an eye out for it OTIS ! $ Thanks guys!!!! I have met some great people off of this forum!! P.S. badassbanshee , I looked through my pm's and i dont see it and dont remember it . Might try again!

  6. Glad you found the problem. Sometimes those little noises can be hard to track down.
  7. Um , No that is not normal to sound like a drill ! If it is making a noise you might want to recheck the installation! Let me know if you need any help you got my #. You do have both thick washers (one behind and one in front) of the clutch basket dont you?

  11. Sounds like a reputable guy! Did see a post over on Planet Sand about him getting what is in the shop caught up and then taking quite a bit of time off after that. He prolly needs a vacation. Sounds like it could be awhile , might check out the time factor .
  12. I agree with Jim . Hey just curious , what kind of trouble have ya seen out of the Vito crank. We have had a couple of Wiescos seperate , even welded 4mm! But those are what i normally recommend too.

  14. I have also seen the radiator caps go bad and not hold . Might check that too along with the impeller .
  15. I would DEFINETLY run premium pump gas in it especially if your bumping the timing! Lots of variables (bore size, altitude, domes, timing , jetting , porting, etc.etc.) when it comes to compression and what gas to run. Normally if jetted correctly i can run prem. pump gas up to about 160-165 lbs of compression WITH a GOOD compression guage like a Snap on . Just my .02

  20. Glad it is running good for ya Steve! Cant wait till you get it dialed in on the jetting , just think , It runs THAT good running wayyyyy fat , how good its gonna run when right on and loosened up! Call me tomorrow when you get it on the dyno.
  21. I havent seen any do like that but have seen some fray at the ends or tips of the reeds and crack. Wish i would of known you needed those before i sent your other parts out! Let me if i can help!
  22. I would say go +4 degrees timing and if you can get about 30 or 40 lbs more compression by milling your head or installing a cool head it will help a ton ! Maybe you could splurge for some V-Force as they would give ya a nice gain !! Bansh88 , These new Cheetah Cubs are a smaller version of the Cheetah cylinders. They are some REAL runners to be reckoned with! We just sent a 4mm set out to Texas and he called me saying they are BADA$$ ! He said on asphalt it pulled up in 5th and 6th gear, WITH A +6 SWINGARM !!
