  1. Word! That goes along ways! Kinda of nice to buy them from a engine builder that way they can walk you through the extras and tips on jetting , install, etc..
  2. I have a nice set of stock chrome a arms that im gettin ready to pull off. What are they worth?? Was thinking around $300.00 shipped!
  3. Bawhaaa haha , your killin me Smalls! No really , that was good!
  4. Hey loco, try not to hold back next time. LOL
  5. If you were to get it to hold with "just springs " it is only a matter of time before that goes out with a good running stroker! Stock clutches with heavy springs only seem to work up to about the point your at now and may not last long. Might try a heavier set of springs if money is tight! The ones we use or some Toomeys!!
  6. I would say with almost 190 lbs of compression he will need at least some 110 octane! Or alky !
  7. I like it cause its enviromentally safe! Saves my cats............Naw , not really i dont like cats. Seriously we use it on lots of bikes with NO trouble at all!! The stuff works!! It will help keep your bike cooler and is safe to like -54 !
  8. ding ding ding! winner winner!! Rnbrad gets the prize! If I recall correctly, the fibers (material) has a wider footprint mated to its steel surface. Obviously the material and gripping capability of it will play the biggest roll in reducing slippage which you also want longevity in the material as well. Most aftermarket fibers and steels are definitly wider than stock The steels are full round where as the stock steels are thinned in one spot! The fibers have a wider footprint as the stock fibers are narrower for the rubber cusions to fit inside which allows for more gripping surface on your pressure plates! The springs , well they are just plain to weak on stock and well ....... Ours are just plain stronger! I thought the ?s would of stopped here : QUOTE(FASTOYS @ Nov 29 2005, 05:49 AM) The friction plates and steels we use are much wider than stock for more seating/gripping area. And the springs are not the wimpy little +10% heavier springs some of the other kits use. Cam2, thanks for the pic. from the Trinity website as i think that will clear up ALL the ?s and the myths!!!!!!! I wish i would of had a stock fiber laying around for the pic. Holy crap, They are proud of those Trin$$$ kits!
  9. Ori , you might ask Rnbrad about polishing as looking at his bike .... He is the KING OF BLING!!! As far as porting for more power there are several good builders on this site!!
  10. Yes his are ported and it is definetly a "badassbanshee"!
  11. Just as soon as we get some warm weather i will go! Im sure i will still go again yet before X mas if i get a warm day or 2.
  12. They are aftermarket fj600 fibers, barnett steels, and barnett steels but not the ones they normally sell for Banshees! They are some i have found to hold up better! Hope this helps the confusion.... I beleive they also fit some years of the fzr 's too. We tried lots of other brands and these are the only ones we found that held up the best without braking and without fading !!
  13. Raptor = "The Tractor" Blue Banshee = "Ol Blue"
  14. bigboybanshee, You come that far, make darn sure you give me a holler and im there! We will get some duning / racing goin on!!! Cmon warm weather!!!!!
  15. Yes they hold up good on asphalt! I believe Tedder is running our clutch on asphalt with no troubles! We have tried Ebc in the past and broke several plates. Also some of the cheaper kits seem to fade when you get em hot. Most our running them without lockup BUT if your running much over 90 hp you really should have a lockup clutch setup! Yes on the override questions! Sorry cb, i reread your post : and are those clutches you got for running with a lock up? Yes , they work great with a lock up also!
  16. The V force work really well for us . They wont give you 10 hp like some might expect or like we all want! But they do offer better throttle response and add about 3-4 hp !!
  17. I dont have any stock fibers on hand but this is the kit i sell that works! I did have some stock steels and these steels have more area to grip than stock. I hope this pic prints as im not real good with photos.
  18. I cant speak for the Tusk kits other than what i have heard on here (some have tried them with modified motors with no luck) but our F.A.S.T. clutch kits are NOT like stock for sure!! I dont use the oem fzr fibers/steels so maybe that is where the different findings come from im not sure. The friction plates and steels we use are much wider than stock for more seating/gripping area. And the springs are not the wimpy little +10% heavier springs some of the other kits use. If those work for you im glad but i do know that most all the fastest bikes in the country have the setup like we sell and there IS a reason for it! Seems like a lot of shops sell the kits kind of like ours for $130.00. Damn that is high compared to $95.00 ! I do also know they our alot better than Barnetts as we have tried them and replaced a ton of them. They also wont muddy up the tranny oil like Kevlar barnetts do! I think Loco has tried Tusk and F.A.S.T. Clutches , I dont see him going back to tusk for sure!! If he cant tear em up nobody can !! LOL
  19. The hot sellers for us are the timing plates and Nology coil and wires. The MSD is more suited for racing only! The timing plate is definetly worth the money!
  20. LMAO ! You guys just aint right are ya?l... Thanks, we sure try.
