LOL, agreed, Im "fixing" im mean, seeing more and more of this lately. And to Maddog, we need to know more info... what bore size? what port timing? etc.. etc... and every Banshee SHOULD have a trued/welded crank asap...

Most all good builders are very busy right now.. I thought we had you pretty well lined out in your other post "Cascade vs F.A.S.T." , via our pm's , and via our hour lonng phone conversation.... Guess not....? I sure hope that was not all for none.... Andy will get back to you and prolly tell you the same thing we said im sure.

after all this crap i dont even remember the whole first post....?? Anyway , the carbs Need to be synced for optimum performance. IF you have the stock tors. boxes, and sync the carbs, go ride it and it will be off because of all the extra linkage crap.. IF tors are removed and you sync them they will stay synced on the money!! Get tors delete kit if can. Hope this helps.

studs should be fine just need wire brushed/cleaned.. Prolly need bigger pilots, 27.5 if stock carbs.

That really isnt a bad price at all IF its real clean shape IMO.. Beats the hell of buying cheaper junk or new oem $400 .

Like Radar said those will help make the bike easier to ride. IF/When you want more power the first things to consider are Timing plate, milled head or Cool head, and then maybe reeds , porting would come next...

They say 1 lb per min. is acceptable loss. But if it's a motor we build it wont leave the shop until there are NO leaks!! Glad you found the leaks. : )

Have heard nothing but good about their products. But it says this: "SUPER CUB HEAD (only fits super cub)" This will NOT work on your stock bike cyls. Noss heads work great too....

Welcome to the Banshee world again. First thing i would do is look for some good used pipes, T5s, pro Circuits, Fatties, etc. depending on your riding style and then get a timing plate set at plus 4 degrees. After that maybe a milled stock head or Noss aftermarket head. Make sure to rejet carbs after all this. That will make for a FUN/ Reliable bike. After that then V force Reeds and then on to PORTING cyls.if your still craving more power..

i think you have the bowls mixed up from side to side. the one w/brass bb (looks like its pushed into the alum. halfway) on lower front of bowl MUST go on left carb or one with choke knob.. This bowl has the choke circuit and the other one does not. Please check and advise.

I agree with the above statements. Im pretty sure Kevin doesnt cast his own cranks. All these guys selling the generic or " Wang" lol cranks are prolly getting them from the same place out west. I have heard of failures but only second hand also. BUT, the second hand i heard from also came and bought a Known brand crank from us so pretty good source i would say.. Some have also told me of cleanrance issues and not being true after running them for awhile.. Im in NO way discrediting Andy or Kevin or anyone else that sells these cranks in the least bit and maybe these few cases are the only problems....But it makes you wonder. We have been using /selling Hot Rods cranks for 10-12 years and several mtrs are still running them. On a side note , i have had trouble with Wiseco cranks , therefore we no longer sell those.

Its all personal preference and what your used to tuning on.. We like Keihin PWKs and Andy likes Lectrons. Which is better kinda like a ford vs chevy ?? Enjoy your new mtr..
