A cut off wheel or a good hack saw and cut down by the sealing washer and only cut through the metal threads! Real good jetting article in the beginning of the jetting forum.
When in doubt, always ask your engine builder/or who your getting your Cubs through or whatever. The CPIs or Shearers will make ALOT more power than the T5s !!
pic 3 using it on a 39 mm carb ! These are the shizzle nizzzle fizzle just ask reded, 23 champ, strokrbanshee1, huggybear, dirty dingo, etc. , they have all seen them work and help there bikes out bunch!
LOL , FasterthanU, Give me a call tomorrow 10-6 central time on a phone that works. jk lol I wanted to talk more with you but could only hear every 5 or 6th word. I ............ Cub................ Price................power...............carb...................reed........! jk LOL
Give me a holler man as we kept getting cut off!!
Some guys can get them really close but 9 out of 10 cant. With this you pull the filters off (or airbox) and hold the sync tool on the bell of the carb at idle and set your base idle. Then you hold the throttle up about 3,000 or so (steady) and check em there! When your done they are set to the Nats AZZ!! You would be surprised how much better the response can be! Like i say , all your buddies will be paying you to do thiers too!$
Stroker was correct!$$
I think actually Cork was lookin for info on jetting but it first looked like syncing the carbs! Sorry Cork (didnt mean to hijack your thread), you will prolly want to lean the jets down a couple of sizes for that alltitude. HO HO To you to Cork!!
I will get a pic of it tomorrow!
We sell a really cool tool called a synchronizer. This thing is the BOMB for syncing carbs perfectly! It has the adaptor to fit stock Banshee size up to 40mm! Pm me for more info~! All your buddies will want you to do theres too! $$$$$$
Very quick and very easy to use!
Usually the little spring on the starter shaft is getting weak and it allows it to just spin aroun too easy and not engage. Cheap fix , we stock what ya need! Also while your in there check your kicker idler gear for tilt/wear and make sure the circlip is still on!
SWEEET!!!!! Glad you got it and glad we could help! It was awesome talkin with you and thanks to you im ready to go to Idaho! jk LOL Give us a holler if ya need anything!
If your lookin for good hook on moist dirt i recommend the Pro Wedge IIs. They have deeper tread and dont flex as bad as the 4snows. If you dont find them locally let me know as i have some!
