  1. Welcome to HQ. How is the weather in Conneticut?
  2. Imo , you dont want to lighten your flywheel for Low End power. Cheapest mods are timing plate, milled head or cool head, then V force , Paul Turner Mids are definetly the best for low end power. Next porting.
  3. Just curious why do you need triple port when these run with them or faster???? Plus you can run these all day long with no worries of overheating like triple port oem cyls..
  4. I said they ran 3.9s with a tubby??? NO i didnt . I said and quote: These 350cc cyls have run 3.9s in a 100yds on sand without a superlight jockey!! They truly are F.A.S.T. !!! end quote: In other words not a 80lb superlight wieght jockey. I have yet to see any 350cc Cubs run those times at that track . It would also cost you much more $$$$ to build a cub than $1,100. Gotta remember here, your getting cyls., drag porting, pistons, domes, intakes, v force, and shipping for that price. PLUS , no down time waiting for portwork. These cylinders are proven F.A.S.T. as are the ones on F.A.S.T 1's 350 cc drag bike running i think 4.08s. Sounds like Dane may have a buyer already....
  5. These 350cc cyls have run 3.9s in a 100yds on sand without a superlight jockey!! They truly are F.A.S.T. !!!
  6. Nice jab wes, but i think what should of been said was i was curious how another builder could mess up a set of Cubs so that they were so hard to tune and have NO bottom end at all! Dont worry wes, i dont copy anyones port work as you think/say i do. Why the heck would i want to build motors that are pipey, hard to tune and wont beat a Raptor? Sounds like we fixed his problems. Glad you can actually enjoy your bike now Adam. quick !!
  7. Oh i agree with you guys dont get me wrong. As i said "Cubs CAN be made to run fine in trails". But if its a trail motor your after i would strongly suggest a good Dune/Play port stock cyl. setup anyday!! Out of the box or even cleaned up the Cubs come with drag port durations so they are really meant for Drag not trail riding but some do it anyway.
  8. Cubs can be made to run fine in the trails especially with your single carb setup. Might pm jeepman380 on here as he has one that runs very well!!
  9. Thanks guys, yeah Andy put alot of hours into it and i have a ton of hours adding parts. We added about a dozen more last night and will continue to keep adding our inventory to the site. So far the response has been awesome!
  10. Sounds like you have either shift shaft flipped around on you OR your basket broke and you have pieces of it laying under your shift shaft. Either way i would bet it is shift shaft related in some way! If you need help this is the right place!
  11. Austin, it should take the same cable that stock carbs use WITH the tors system removed . YOu might need the taller adjusters to get full throttle. Look on our website to see what they look like.
  12. Actually.........We are in Kansas, centrally located. We get motors shipped in from all over the world. Wherever you send it just make sure to insure it well !!$$$$
  13. Very nice bike and definetly a F.A.S.T. one ! Free bump..... Someone should make an offer on this one.....
  14. Thanks for bringing that to my attention. I called Matt and he said the timers that were used on the street for testing were screwed up . At the US41 Dragway it ran 6.3 at 105 mph. He said he had to leave at about 1/2 throttle because of traction issues and about the 100 ft mark he hits the bottle. Bike weighs in at heafty 364lbs so no lightweight by any means. Anyway the website is changed now. Thanks
  15. You can get look UPPs for 89.00 or other billet intakes for Much less.
  16. We have guys running our clutch in 100hp bikes for years with no problems (and no lockup) so i dont think 70 hp is gonna pose a problem. Its all in the setup!
  17. Yeah we added more products last night too in the diesel section , Hot cams (4 strokes) and some other misc.. Fred03 i got your pipes in and they will be heading to Belgium today!
  18. Hadnt thought much about it , did think about a garage sale section for used parts. As far as forums go i prefer HQ and dont really have time for much else. lol
  19. Thanks guys, and Bansheman, we are toying with the idea of a shopping cart BUT being a 2 man show we just dont have the time to keep up with inventory on the site and in the shop. I am more of a "one on one" kind of guy and like to offer tips and tricks for parts/service we sell . As mentioned before we strive for customer service not just somebody behind a computer taking a credit card. I feel that is what keeps alot of these guys coming back. More parts are being added each day so keep an eye on it!
  20. I can't tell you how many of those Barne$$ clutches we have replaced. If you cant adjust it out , i would say it is shot.
  21. Wow, glad you caught that before carnage happened. I have seen them take out motors!
  22. Thanks ! Yes, that and many others i will get it all sorted it out soon.
  23. We will continue to add products that we stock and/or sell so check back often for updates to the website. Thanks for the input.
