They work VERY well for trailing/duning and make jetting a snap!! His is in good shape too, as i saw it in when he brought it into the shop the other day. That is a good deal for sure! :thumbsup:

Your Noss head will work fine but you will need big bore domes or yours cut out to 68mm.

Might do a search on this as it seems to be a VERY popular ? but i will give you some input. Depending on how much you want to spend , you have pipes already so next go with a timing plate set at +4 degrees. Then get some V Force 3 reeds, and a cool head w/domes. You will get very noticeable gains with these 3 mods!! Might even gear down the front sprocket 1 tooth for woods riding if needed. Then the next mods would be porting and carbs. If your dragging alot sounds like you may want a Play/Dune port but you should prolly talk with a shop/builder and discuss that when the time comes.

Actually had some trouble with Edge stuff lately on Dmaxs. Alot of people talking on diesel forums and a friends of mine also having glitches with them where the truck just dies when you least expect it. :sad:

Who made the frame in your other auction? Is that one you were running?

Another option is the Sand Stars as they hook decent for a v pdl. and still carve the dunes great. A "tough tire" would be the Kenda Dune runner or Cheng chin Dune hopper. I have also not had much trouble with a hauler paddle for duning. Most likely if you tear up a hauler .........your gonna tear up any other tire that was on there too!

What year Dmax do you have? Give me a ring and i will tell you the good the bad and the ugly low down. I have had 3 of them. Good Trucks! Luv my 06, it runs mid 13s and gets 21mpg.

Sounds like you have about enough $ to do a F.A.S.T. head w/domes, some V Force 3s, and a timing plate. All gonna add nice power gains to what you have!!

Had a bunch of people wanting to see these so thought i would post it up here. Thank you Dave for the nice work. We are working on finding an anodizer soon for the colored heads as Dave's anodizer guy is no more. FYI, i took a fine black marker and highlighted the letters just to show detail on this one. They normally come all silver. Will look awesome when we can get them in colors again! Price stayed the same as on our site.
