  1. Always best to consult who ported/built the motor. Depends on what kind of riding you do with it but 35PWKs are fine.
  2. I do the Pressure test when motor assembly is finished. They should hold 6psi for 6 minutes. They say 1psi leakage per minute is acceptable but not in MY shop!!
  3. Honestly i never noticed the spelling.... Your avitar distracted me. lol Yum Not so much on the relax time. STill balls to the wall around here, just better for you folks though!
  4. Good call, jack it up and spin everything, pay attention to your chain as it could have rollers or pins in bad shape too.
  5. Yes: http://www.farmandsandtoys.com/partdetail.asp?partid=190 These seem to producde a bit more hp/tq on the dyno compared to other models.
  6. Not sure what all the sale prices will be but we plan on being VERY busy shipping goodies to all the good girls and boys that ride 4 wheelers. Also gonna be updating the website with more products we carry and all the OEM Yamaha that we carry most people dont even know about.
  7. Looks really nice, got anymore pics?
  8. You may want to change the oem chain guide above the front of the swingarm as they make alot of noise when new let alone when worn out. Go to this style: http://www.farmandsandtoys.com/partdetail.asp?partid=141 I dont usually run the upper roller but you can feel and listen to your bottom roller to see if it is worn.
  9. If you can wait a couple of weeks We will have our Holiday special ready to go. 33PWKs will be a great upgrade!
  10. FYI, we are only 2-3 weeks out on porting at this time as i have been bustin my rump to get to where i can see the light. I think that is worth the wait considering what ya get! Should cost you about $15 or so to ship them UPS insured.
  11. I believe the o ring your talking about is behind the clutch cover and on the heater pipe...
  12. You will spend close to $550-600 when all said and done on bigger carbs. Gotta remember your gonna need selection of jets/needles, cable, filters, outerwears, etc.. plus what you already said. You can get them all from the same place and save shipping if you look around too. If you want to wait a couple of weeks we are going to be running some Holiday specials that should be worth the wait $$$$$!!!
  13. Wow, 1.49? that is way cool. In Topeka, Ks yesterday i saw gas for $1.59 and paid 2.59 for diesel. Diesel should definetly be cheaper i think. Who woulda thought we'd ever see below $2.00 a gal. again??
  14. Timing plate is a must have on a Banshee! +4 is generally a good setup to start. It Does sound like possibly a jetting issue . Try turning the air/fuel screws in 1/2 turn at at time and see if it starts helping your off idle problem.
  15. A quick note, make sure to lube the pivot point on the perch and lever and also where the cable goes into lever. Also make sure to Lube your cable and even though its new....they dont come lubed!!!!
  16. No its a cheap knock off because its not the same brand. Yes they look the same, but that one does NOT come with the larger adapter for BIG carbs and is made by a different manufacturer. Most people buy their ATV parts from us at the same time they purchase the sync tool so as to pay shipping once and get everything at one place. Plus we offer tech help and tips in using the tool. We appreciate those who support the site sponsors and help keep HQ going strong.
  17. Depending on your budget start with maybe gearing lower (woods riding), timing plate set at +4, cool head with 20-21cc, then V force. Those simple bolt-ons will help broaden your powerband a bunch!
  18. When fully seated the arm/lever sits about 3/4" above the case. Did you forget and maybe put the rod in before the lever?? Call me if you need any help and i will gladly walk you through it.
  19. For that amount of $$ look for a Cool head or some V force reeds in that order.
  20. Check with the sponsors links at the top of the page: http://www.farmandsandtoys.com/partdetail.asp?partid=59
  21. I think the 21x12x8 8pdl extreme is plenty of tire for a gas cub duner with 4 " over arm. Alot lighter carcass than your old 10" wheels! You could also talk to the guys at Fullerton Sand Sports for more info.
  22. no you will need to buy a 4mm crank as the lower crank pin is moved farther out to make the stroke longer on the 4mm.
  23. Pm Tedder on here as he is from Ohio and might have an idea where to get Race fuel.
